Hey Cutters...
First thing I want to do is send a HUGE birthday shout-out to my bro Smokey! Smokey is hitting the Big 50!! I've known Smoke for decades, since my days in the bar business. Last year, he told me that he wanted to make some big changes to his life and his health before he hit 50. I introduced him to YRG and he really took it to heart. He's to YRG what Jared is to Subway sandwiches. Smokey has definitely met and exceeded the goal he set for himself for his 50th birthday, and I couldn't be prouder of him. Happy Birthday, Smokey!!

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY, SMOKEY!!!

I want you guys to know that I appreciate the concerned emails that I have received about me going on my trip to Iraq... To put your minds to ease I honestly feel it's not my time so don’t worry yourself about it... Like most of you I think this war SUCKS but I believe in our troops... I have been lucky enough to have lived a world full of dreams because of these men and women and the ones that have come before them and any time I get the chance I want to give back so they know they are not forgotten... And I know I can make a difference to just about everyone I meet on this trip because I am not just going to be spending 10 seconds with each one of them as they move down the line taking pictures with the World Championship Title ...

DDP with the Troops in Iraq

This time I am going to be able to spend some real quality time with the troops and share something that will help them out when times get really tough... YRG is a body and mind workout... It works your body because in a very short time you start to become more flexible ... you become stronger ... You not only feel a change in your body but it’s also helps to focus your mind... And it even teaches you to breathe like you did as child again which there are a shitload of benefits from... there are only two things we control in this world (think about it) the way we think... the way we react to a situation and the way  we breathe... Imagine just for a moment that you are being shot at (by real bullets) from numerous directions ... You heart pumping a mile a minute... Scared shitless... What do you do to fight that awful feeling how do you gain control... Well for starter you breathe deep and slow... It calms you ... It gives you focus... Think of the last BIG verbal FIGHT you had... How were you breathing ... Short and fast right... Like I said earlier how you breathe will dictate how you think... When you breathe short and Quick you just react... you don’t think before you speak or react... we are all guilty... When you can control you breathing it will help you control you mind and when you are getting shoot at from all directions this can be very beneficial... Yes I guarantee you if you learn how to control the way you breathe it absolutely will help you with the way you think... I hope to see as many of our troops participate as possible in YRG with DDP... Yoga in a war zone what a concept... I will be leaving on August 25th and be back in LA around the 6th... It’s going to be a great trip!
I received an email from Gayle Jones (aka Aunt Precious) whose son I met on my last trip to Iraq that I want to share. Gayle, I hope that's ok.

Subject: Re: DDP off to Iraq

DDP,
As you know, I am the mother of two soldiers. One, Sgt. Jake Brice was deployed to Iraq on during one of your earlier trips to the region. When you were there before, you made a HUGE impact on the soldiers you met. They were impressed that, unlike many other famous people, you did not make an appearance in Kuwait, do a virtual wave to the forward-deployed soldiers, and head back home thinking you really made a difference. No - instead you went from FOB to FOB (Forward Operations Base). You went where the ground troops were - where they were STILL engaging the enemy, dodging IEDs, RPGs and small arms fire. You were in the Sunni triangle, which is where all the stuff happens that we hear about on TV.
Many soldiers, my sons included, grew up watching you on WWF/WWE/WCW, and considered your presence to be a big BIG deal! You portrayed a tough guy in sports entertainment, but then you showed in a real tangible way that you ARE a tough guy, with a soft heart for our soldiers.
I will be praying for you during this next journey, and I am sure God has a ton of work left for you to do on this earth, so I look forward to seeing you back in St. Louis in January of '07. But in the meantime, I applaud and thank you for again putting yourself in harms way to raise the morale of our Soldiers and Marines stationed in Iraq.
I am glad I had the chance to meet you face to face to tell you how much your visit meant to my son and the other soldiers last time. Thanks for not making it a one-time shot. Thanks for not forgetting that other sons and daughters, moms and dads, are still serving, and dying for our right to be free!
God Bless you, DDP!

On an other note I got to do the the Adam Carolla radio show last week... The entire crew were great ... I brought Angella for the Yogababe affect which worked like a dream... I have to say I was really blown away because Adam's whole crew was actually into it... I even got Tad or Fat Tad as they call him to start YRG... Tad is a really cool guy and I hope he can stick to the YRG program and he takes control so that he can “Owns his Life”... Tad would really inspire soooooo many people... I put his first start up pictures like Smokey did so you can see where is starting from... He’s supposed to start YRG next week I will keep you posted in the weeks to come... If you want to see the pictures clink here www.diamonddallaspage.com or if you would like to listen to the program go to my site and listen to the show www.diamonddallaspage.com... I think it is the best one I have done on YRG and had a really fun time so far... They actually like it so much the replayed it again later that week...

DDP with Adam Carolla

Also on the front page of my site is an other great story in New Jersey Monthly about YRG www.njmonthly.com/issues/june06/ddp.html as well as a story on 49er Tony Parrish's yoga workout routine that appeared on the cove of SI ... It is a very impressive article of the benefits of Yoga... Imagine if he was doing YRG... That would take him to the next planet... But I find it amusing how many athletes are coming out of the closet about doing any form of yoga...

What else I got a chance to see Los Lonely Boys this week again and I’ll tell you they just keep getting better and better ... It was a pleasant surprise to see my buddy John Schiender (JRS) and his beautiful wife Elly... The LLB were
fantastic I’ve got some great shots for them on this site www.diamondallaspage.com

Angella, John Schneider, DDP and John's beautiful wife Elly

These guys can do it all...

Los Lonely Boys live on stage in Los Angeles

Last weekend I also went to the set of Collier & Co.  the movie... They did a dangerous 120 jump across a creek... JRS asked me to come by for some moral support... The jump as it turned out was a success keep an eye out for Collier & Co.  coming to theaters in 2007...

That’s all for now I am rushing to the airport as finish this email up... The pictures won’t be posted on the site for a couple of days but you can listen to the Carolla show and read the articles now... Till next time its been your pleasure... As well as mine.
Have a Great day!

Hey Cutters...
At the finish of last weeks email I asked you to guess who would be the next celebrity to do the Diamond Cutter hands sign with me and I gave you the hint of " Bow Wow". That being said, did any of you figure it out before you saw Snoop Dog in the picture? Just curious...more on that later...

Snoop and DDP doing the Diamond Cutter

The YRG DVDs are On Sale Now and are going out the door like hot cakes... I want to thank you all for your heart felt emails to the DVDs... All the hard work is obviously paying off...
Right now we are putting together another sister site to diamonddallaspage.com called YRGworkout.com which will have a ton of streaming video so that you can see pieces of the YRG Workout in action... you will also see some great testimonials and the story behind it. I will keep you posted...
We have also just started our own MYSPACE.COM site... What a surprise huh? We are still under construction (thanks Morgen) Here's how you get there http://www.myspace.com/YRGworkout ... The reason we set this site up is for all the people who are a part of Team YRG and fornew people who are just getting on the YRG program and want to help each other out as you move along... In the coming weeks you will get to talk to some of the staples of YRG like Terri Lange and hopefully Smokey... Terri just emailed me and let me know that she will be up and running on the MySpace site this week... which is really great because now all you ladies who email about Terri will be able to get in direct contact with this incredibly inspirational individual.
If you want to read a great article that was done on me and YRG by Philip Nutman check this out... http://www.upagainstthewallmag.com/ISSUE01/DDP.html I think it is one of the best articles I have read about YRG and I love how the writer worked in one of Team YRG regulars Jim Mabes... Jim is quite a story... be watching for him on the http://www.myspace.com/YRGworkout site.
What else? The YRG World tour kickoff at Golds Gym in Venice was great... I'd like to thank everyone who came out to support YRG and all the new people who experienced it for the first time.

YRG at Golds Gym in Venice, CA

We didn't get many of the muscle heads trying YRG but many of them came by and checked it out... I'll get'em next time... remember...before you can really be flexible in the body you must become flexible in the mind... you may see a guy walking around with a camera in the Golds gym pictures. Thats Arthur Klien who came by to do some filming for his new movie called "Y-Yoga" which YRG and DDP are becoming a pretty big part of... Arthur, like my friends Kate and and Slick Nick from the movie Project Y, like that fact I am sort of the antithesis of yoga while at the same time YRG is still yoga based... Arthur is pretty much done filming everything for his film... he is just waiting for me to bring back footage of training our troops YRG in Iraq... that will be classic... Sergeant Hulka, get ready to go bro...
This Thursday August 10th, I'll be down The Jersey Shore at the Brielle Sports Club in Brielle NJ go to the site for directions (Official Site) be there if you can make it... I will be doing a beginners class at 5:30 pm and kick ass YRG class at 6:30 pm ... Angella and Iwill be at down the shore from Tuesday till Saturday. BTW, my sister Sally has finally moved her business out of her house and bought a building for her travel agency called The Travel Smiths if you ever need a travel agent I will guaran-Damn-tee ya there is not a better one on the planet...
After that, Ang and I are headed to one of my favorite cities on the planet... Chicago, Illinois for Angella's Grandad's 90th birthday then back to LA... On September 22rd, YRG with DDP and the Yoga-doc will be headed to Tampa and working our way down the west coast of Fla. and then head back up the east coast... I'll keep you posted on that.
It's funny because I had so much sh*t going on this last month that I totally forgot to tell you guys that I was headed down to San Diego to do Comic Con July 20th - 23rd... Last year at Comic Con we premiered "Devils Rejects"... this year I had 3 movies not actually premiering but had whats called panel discussions... it's where we show scenes from each the movies and then have a panel discussion afterwards ... Snoop Dogs "Hood of Horror" got the most hype obviously because well... because it's Snoop... it was a great panel lead by the creator the Hood of Horror and director my movie "Driftwood" Tim Sullivan... everyone did a great job... since Snoop was caught in heavy traffic coming down from LA... What a surprise huh? It was up to us to fill the void... on the panel was Pooch Hall who you heard me talk about just last week when we were at the "Hoods Of Horror" LA film festival screening... Pooch is going to be a HUGE star someday... he has a million dollar smile... great charisma and talent... As a matter of fact my boy Pooch has a new show starting up this fall called The Game... check it out...

Pooch Hall at Comic Con is the Game!

Also there was buddy writer/producer Jonathan Q who gave me my part and named me Jersey... as well as the legend Ernie Hudson, my girl Lyn Shae, the sexy Brande Roderick and Daniella Alonso and rounding out the panel was producer Martin Shore who is such a class act (I also want to thank his lovely wife Robyn for taking the pictures you are looking at since my camera died right before I got there) this was a fun crew to be with on and off the set... go figure me wearing the new YRG t-shirt... What a surprise hun?

Brandy, Q, Tim, Lyn, Snoop, Ernie, DDP, Pooch and Daniella...

There was over 4,500 people and you know that most of them came to see Snoop... and guess who's not going to make it... What a surprise hun?? Our PR girl Nicole saved the day by getting Snoop on the cell phone and actually did a call in on his cell phone and the people still loved it... when you don't have to be physically at your own panel discussion for you own movie that's got your name on it and you still leaving the people happy ... now that's being OVER... this cat or dog can't do nothing wrong I've never seen anything like it...

Q, Tim, Snoop, DDP and Martin

Anyway as you can see above Snoop did finally make the PR portion which is the most important part for all of us concerned ... Snoop came as charismatic as ever... totally laid back and within moments the room was his... after he did the press run it's picture time and at some point Tim says I would like to get a picture of DDP and Snoop ... when I walked up to Snoop I stuck out my left hand and just asked Snoop to complete the Diamond Cutter sign with his right hand which he did graciously ... after we ran the through all the photographers ... Snoop said to me "Hey Diamond we miss one of the boys over there and Snoop suggested putting back up the Diamond Cutter sign again" and yes he called it the Diamond Cutter sign not the Roc sign... as we were taking pictures Snoop says to me... "You know Diamond... I like this Diamond Cutter sign... it's kinda Gangsterish ... I think I might have to steal it..."? which of course made me laugh out loud... I thought of things to say like well you better to get in line but I thought that would just be taking the low road and it was Classic just as it was... Like I said I just laughed my ass off... later I would realize maybe he was just seeing if I would sell it or not... you know get me on a rant about Jay-Z or something... funny thing was when Snoop was getting ready to leave I grabbed my girl Angella and asked him if would take an other picture with the 2 of us... of course Snoop loved Angella... what a surprise huh? Aas we were doing the double cross hands Diamond Cutters Snoop says "yeah we should be doing the Diamond Cutter sign since you invented it Diamond" At that point I was sure he was just ribbing me about stealing the sign... which even made it funnier to me... I really enjoyed meeting him... This was a Classic DDP moment...

Snoop DDP and Angella

The panels for "Driftwood" and "Spilnter" went well but we only had about a third of the time we had for HoH but it's all good PR... or Saturday night Angella ,Jana and I watched our first screening of "Spinter" I was happy with it and considering that this flick only cost about $300,000.00 in post production it is absolutely amazing... my part got a little chopped down because of time and technical sh*t but I was just happy to be a part of the team... I learn something new on every flick I get... I want to thank Michael Olmas for the opportunity.

Dallas Page, Michael D. Olmos, Resmin Atis and Edward James Olmos

As for Driftwood, they are talking about a February release... I'm hoping it goes to MTV but it may go to Spike or The Science Fiction channel and then to the uncensored DVDs which should be killa... I will keep you posted...
Well thats all for this long ass email. Remember if you want to see all the pictures go to www.diamonddallaspage.com
As usual it's been your pleasure as well as mine...

Have a Great day!

Hey Cutters...
I just got back from my trip to Atlanta and Tampa... first stop was Atlanta where, on Wednesday, we trained the Georgia Tech football team and we had a packed house... To read the article that was on the front page of the Atlanta Constitution Journal Sports section just click here.
It pretty much says it all. The following Friday, two of the Georgia Tech's former stars who are now playing pro ball stopped by. They were Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Keyaron Fox and New York Giants DB James Butler. They hooked back up with the Yoga-doc and I for an even more intense YRG workout. They also brought some of there other bros, Seahawks RB Jimmy Dixon, Giants Linebacker Gerris Wilkinson, and Detroit Lions Tight End Darius Williams. These guys busted their asses and and took their YRG workout to another level.

The following morning I hit my favorite breakfast place on the planet, Cracker Barrel, where I met two young baseball players...Ryan and Patrick who grew up watching DDP and the WCW. By the time we were done with our conversation they were ready to take the baseball game to another level. Their dad Scott was all over the YRG program and wanted to do it with his boys. He thought it would not only would help his boys increase their strength and flexibility but it would be a great way to bond with his boys and he's right.

Later that night we celebrated Yoga-doc's 40 birthday bash... what a blow out party that was... I never got any pictures from the Yoga-doc so you're going to have to take my word for it. Raven was was at the party with his new girl and so was Kanyon... Kanyon watched our new YRG DvD and decide he was in... Kanyon came by the next day and did a YRG workout with the Yoga-doc and I and he loved it... he said it was the heart monitor that sold him.
He couldn't believe that he could get his heart rate up to 135 simply standing still while just moving his arms while engaging you muscles as you move with resistance.

The next day I was off to Tampa to see my buddy Derrick Brooks and a couple of other Tampa Bay Bucs to get their YRG on. Brooks picked me up at the airport and took us right to the Bucs training center where I met their new stud nose guard Chris Hovan.
It was great to get the total body workout with both of these incredible athletes... what do they say when you work with top talent it helps take you to the next level... and it did...
Then following morning Brooks and I were up at 6am and on our way to be on the radio with Cledus T. Party Morning Show with bro Chad Brock (who I used to wrestle with me), Steve Austin and Rita Ciccarello on 99.5 WQYK -Tampa Bay's #1 Country Station. We had a great interview about Brooks, Chris and I doing the workout. The guys were good enough to send us the interview on MP3. Click here to check it out.
Cledus T. and Chad said they really wanted to start doing the YRG Workout. The positive side is that Cledus has already lost 70 lbs and Chad has lost 55 lbs so they're not looking to lose much more weight. It's more about flexibility and strength now. We'll see if they really do it or not. You know I'll keep you posted.

After the interview, we were back at the Tampa Bay Bucs training facility. This time we were doing YRG with Alex Smith the 6'6'' 270 tight end. What a stud and a work horse was! We were also joined by my twin bother from an other mother Joe Gomez who is 6'1'' 260 lbs. I used to wrestler with him and he is getting ready to make a comeback and a new rookie Dan Rodimer who is 6'6'' 278 lbs with Deep South Wrestling. I put all these guys heights and weights down because I want you to realize the size of these Regular Guys who pretty much wouldn't be caught dead doing yoga. Now they're doing YRG and loving it. The sun was blasting and we worked our asses off... here is a shot of of the boys doing Diamond Cutter Lunges - Alex ... Joe ... Derrick and me...DDP.

and Catcher Position... Alex ... Dan ... Derrick and DDP

Don't forget, Regular Guys and Gals, we start the YRG with DDP World Tour this week at The MECCA...Golds Gym in Venice, California... tomorrow, July 26th... If you are in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning turn on channel 5 KTLA and look for the segments with my girl Gail Anderson... We will be doing segments for YRG with Gail from 6:45 am till 8:45 am... and then later that same night there will be YogaBabes galore and sh*tload of Regular Guys doing YRG with DDP at the Mecca ... Good Gawd! That's right the nights of Wednesday the 26th and Thursday the 27th at 6:30 pm and Friday the 28th at 5:30 pm we will be doing YRG live at GOLD'S GYM in Venice, 360 Hampton Dr. Venice Ca 90201 Phone# (310) 392-6004. Check out their site at www.goldsgym.com/.
NOT A MEMBER? DON'T WORRY ... I'VE GOT YOU COVERED... just tell them at the door that DDP sent you... So if you want a hell of a workout... get there early because you know the spaces are going to go fast and I'll be bringing my A game to The Mecca... but I will also show you how you can make this YRG Workout your own, so that you can workout at your own pace... It's all good ... it will only be as hard as you want it to be... It's going to be a Kick Ass Good time... There will be other dates in the Los Angles area set up to do the YRG Workout Live but we want to get the The MECCA under our belt first.

On Saturday July 29th at 1 pm I will be at the Grove in Hollywood at Barnes and Noble doing a Yoga for Regular Guys book signing... Even though we have the DVDs out, the YRG book is still the bible of the workout... To really grab the quickest understanding of getting the most out of your YRG workout you really should read the book and I would appreciate any of my friends in the LA area coming out and supporting this signing it's going to be my last one and I would like to go out with a BANG!!! After the signing were heading over to the Whisper at the Grove to have a few cocktails ... I hope you can make it!!
Btw... Do think their were enough Diamond Cutter pictures in this email... Your damn right I did... You won't believe WHO I'LL BE DOING THE DIAMOND CUTTER WITH IN NEXT WEEKS EMAIL... hint... Bow wow...

Hey Cutters...
Damn, have I been busy as hell getting ready for the (Yoga for Regular Guys) YRG DVDs to hit the streets... We should be shipping on the 17th of July so if you have already ordered, thank you so much for waiting... trust me, it's going to be worth it... it's the best thing I've ever done. This DVD is the first ever Educational, Inspirational, Perspirational (Ok, so maybe that's not a word but you get where I'm coming from) Workout DVD ever. Really, there is so much information on this (Yoga for Regular Guys) YRG DVD that you shouldn't have any problem finding a way to make this YRG workout your own.

Right now we are setting up the YRG with DDP World Tour as we speak and we are starting at The MECCA...Golds Gym in Venice... It's funny because those meat heads over there at Golds wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near the aerobic / Yoga room... so I'm taking it to the outside part of Golds... where the guys do most of their training for boxing and kickboxing... Hell, I understand, for the first 42 years of my life I wouldn't be caught dead doing yoga either, but hey this ain't only yoga... it's YRG. Good Gawd!
That's right Wednesday the 26th, Thursday the 27th, and Friday the 28th at 6:30 pm we will be doing YRG live at GOLD'S GYM in Venice, 360 Hampton Dr. Venice Ca 90201 # 310-392-6004. Check out their site at www.goldsgym.com/.

Other areas set for YRG World Tour... well I'm heading home to The Jersey Shore and set to appear at the Brielle Sports Club in Brielle NJ (Official Site) so if you are in the Jersey area make the trip and come see me you know it's not that far... Mary Ann Martin, you should come do the early class... I can't wait to see my family... My sister Sally has finally moved out of her business out of her house and bought a building for her travel agency called The Travel Smiths if you ever need a travel agent I will guaran-Damn-tee ya there is not a better one on the planet... After that I am headed to one of my favorite cities on the planet... Chicago, Illinois. Both dates will be in the middle of August and will follow in the next email... but the place I am looking forward the most to doing YRG is in Iraq with our troops at the end of August through the beginning of September. We're also looking to do a big SE tour of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida come late September early October. Man I guess I will never get off the road and you know what ... that's my life and I love it. I hope you get a chance to experience YRG with DDP live and in living color.
Speaking of YRG with DDP, this Wednesday I will be with my partner the Yoga-doc... Dr. Craig Aaron training Georgia Tech's Football team... I can't wait to get these guys pumped up and ready to take to the next level... talk about testosterone... Last year Georgia Tech's defensive team only had one injury... unheard of? ... that's YRG baby... Great job Yoga-doc and yogababe Jen (cover girl)...
After that I'm off to Tampa Bay to train the best Linebacker in the NFL Derrick Brooks. Derrick and I have been bros since 1997... or as he put it he is a Diamond Cutter for Life... Last year Smokey... Richie... Bam Bam and I went to a game and Brooks got us tickets right on the field... After the game we all went to dinner and talked about the game and life in general. At some point I asked Brooks... "So how long do you want to play bro?" and he said with passion in his eyes "As long as they'll let me" right there I got up and walked outside to get him one of my Yoga for Regular Guys books... He started looking through it laughing from time to time and impressed at others... then he asked me if he could do this YRG year round... I said no ... you SHOULD do this year round... About a month ago I called Brooks to catch up and the first words out of his mouth was ... hey man I thought you were going to send my YRG DVD... He said he's been doing the YRG workout from the book but he was ready to take it the next level... I told him I will not only send him his DVD I'll bring him the demo myself... So the 17th and 18th of this month I'll be training the All Pro in what I call YRG Extreme in Tampa Bay... I can't wait to see what a true mega-athlete like Brooks can do on hard core YRG Workout... I'll keep you posted...
Alright I know what your asking yourself... does DDP have a life besides YRG? Yes believe it or not I do... Last week I took Angella to a screening of my movie Snoop Dogg's Hoods of Horror. We did the red carpet where I have got a great shot with my boy from the "HOH" Pooch Hall... when they were taking our pictures Pooch said throw it up bro we have got to represent... so we threw up the famous Double Diamond Cutter... Take that Jay-Z ... I can't wait till that sh*t hits the fan... to check out more shots click here...
Pooch... what a mug on that kid... he is SO MONEY... wait till you see him in "HOH" he's great and going to be a HUGE star someday... I play a body guard named Jersey for SOD played by Pooch and Quan, played by Aires Spears from Mad TV... it was a lot of fun filming this flick and heard it is going to hit the big screen sometime this fall... Later at the after party, Pooch and I got an other DDC with my boy Matteo the cat who runs Golds Gym Venice and who I just happen to meet in the real Venice, Italy ... no sh*t... the real Venice... too funny... been bros ever since...

What else? You may see some pictures on Angella and I in Vegas... we went there to celebrate the anniversary of her 29th birthday... damn my girl is truly holding back the hands of time withYRG... While we were in Vegas we partied at The Wynn Connection's new night club called Tryst... man, the line was so long. Thank God my man Ice Train hooked me up with Q... later we hit an other killa place to party the Hard Rock Hotel... if you go you to eat you have to check out the Pink Taco... the food is unbelievable ... try their chicken dish... I have no idea what they put on it but I'm telling you it is off the hook... and if the line is tooooo long ask for my boy Patch and tell him DDP sent you ... he's the cool looking cat with the glasses on doing the Diamond Cutter with me in the picture gallery... if can help you out... he will... There are also a couple of new pictures of great costumes from Fangoria and Moster Mania...
Well that's about all for this trip... as usual it's been your pleasure as well as mine...

Hey Cutters...
It's finally arrived. We've launched the new and improved, 2006 version of DiamondDallasPage.com. Some of you may have seen previews of it, but trust me when I say you need to check it all out to fully appreciate it. Be sure to check out the new YRG Case Studies section to check on the progress of our new Regular Guy, Jim Mabes, and Regular Gal, Kim Haney. Kim's lost 20 pounds and four inches off her waist. I'm very proud of her. Jim is using YRG to increase his flexibility and is already able to do some advanced moves.
Just got into St. Louis for the Hooked On Health Expo in the America's Center. I'll be on stage with the Yoga Doc, Dr. Craig Aaron. I'll be on the local Fox affiliate in St. Louis tomorrow (Friday) between 6:30 and 8:30 in the morning to help promote the event. Then me and the Yoga Doc will speak about YRG and give a demonstration at Expo using volunteers from the audience. We'll also be signing books and taking pictures. I'll be there at 1:15 PM on Saturday and 1:30 PM on Sunday. Times are subject to change so look for more information at the event or at GetHookedOnHealth.com.
I want to thank Gillian for hooking me up with National Public Radio's Only A Game show. My appearance will air this weekend. Since the show is on NPR stations around the country, time will vary among affiliates, so check your local listings. DDP on NPR...who'd a thought? For those of you who don't know what NPR is... like me when I first heard of it... NPR is the radion station for smart people...kind of like the PBS of radio.
Until next time... it's been your pleasure ... As well as mine...

Hey Cutters...
First, I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family of Eddie Guerrero. Eddie was unquestionably an underdog at every level and an incredible over achiever. Eddie showed that anything is possible. He achieved every dream he ever sought after overcoming all obstacles. He was one of my favorite people in and out of the ring. As a matter of fact, it was Eddie Guerrero who helped escalate my career. It was my feud with Eddie that put me in front of the wrestling audience as a serious competitor. But more importantly he helped me make a believer of the boys in the back... Thank you Eddie for that I will never forget you. Eddie was such an unbelievable talent that you automatically elevated your game every time you stepped into the ring with him. Not only was hea good guy out of the ring, but he was a straight shooter in the ring. You could trust him, which in our business says everything. You will be sorely missed, my friend. God bless you and your family.

The media tour for my new book starts this week. I will be guest hosting my buddy Mancow's radio show Wednesday morning, the day before Thanksgiving. Mancow's Morning Madhouse is a great syndicated radio show out of Chicago that I love. Check out their official website at Mancow.com.
I know you haven't heard much from me lately because I have been crazy busy ... Even for me. I've just finished filming Danny Trejo's movie “Jack's Law”which will hopefully make the Sundance Film festival. From “Jack’s Law”I went right to Tim Sullivan's “Driftwood”. Think of “Driftwood”as an attitude adjustment camp for troubled kids where parents pay $50,000 for a real man to get their kids on the right track..I am that real man, Captain Doug Kennedy... On the outside anyway... Once you get inside of “Driftwood”it gets a little twisted. This is a supernatural thriller also starring Ricky Ullman (as David) from Disney's hit show, “Phil of the Future”, and reality show star Talan Torriero (as Yates) known for his appearances on “MTV's Laguna Beach”and is a member of Paris's Pack... Paris  Hilton that is... As a matter of fact, he's all over the papers right now since he just got engaged to Rod Stewart's daughter... Oh THAT TALAN...congrats to you and Kimberly Stewart both bro.  My second accomplice in this film is David Eigenberg (Norris) who played Steve in Sex In the City. David's parents are played by the legendary Lin Shaye and Mark McClure. You'll remember Mark as Jimmy Olsen from the Superman movies with Christopher Reeves. We shot this movie in 15 days...it was fast, furious, and brutal... It kicked my ass... but the dailies look great so hopefully you'll get to see it in theaters in the next year or so.

I don't want to forget the lovely Baelyn, who plays my daughter in “Driftwood”. She was wearing her grandmother's antique diamond ring with beautiful diamonds all around the band and a flawless one and a half carat diamond right in the center. Unfortunately, she lost the center stone during shooting. As we were getting ready to film our scene, I could tell her attitude wasn't where it needed to be. After a little bit of "Positively Page" she was ready to work. About 2 hours into our scene, I turned and sat in another chair. I saw a flicker in the four inch tall grass. I thought, nah...couldn't be. I reached down anyway and pulled out... You get it... Her grandmas diamond. Talk about finding a needle in a haystack. I picked it up in shock and cavalierly walked over and asked her, "Is this what you were missing?" She was a beacon the rest of the day. Check this picture out of me and Baelyn with the Diamond in the Diamond Cutter... Bang!
Speaking of movies, the Devil's Rejects DVD is out on sale. Feel free to get one signed at any of my book signings, so long as you have a YRG “Yoga for Regular Guys”book for me to sign in your other hand.

As for YRG (Yoga for Regular Guys), the book officially drops on December 4th and I will be doing a ton of media to support the book in the New York area. The www.DiamondDallasPage.com website is the best place to keep track of where I'll be or where I am headed to. My official spokesperson, Larry "Smokey" Genta has lost 53 pounds to date. Smokey is to YRG what Jared was to Subway... But our boy Smokey did the right way... He's in the best shape of his life thanks to YRG. YRG, CRG (Cooking for Regular Guys... I book we are both writing as we speak... It would be cooking meets “The Man Show”), and Living Life at 90% has changed his life. You will definitely want to go read his latest updated. Smokey is not just a spokesperson, he's also one of the greatest promoters that I know and has put together an unbelievable book signing in Ft. Myers, Florida. It’s funny because my publisher's Quirk publicity person has told me it would be impossible to go into Ft. Myers at this time of the year. Smokey went there and got me booked at Books-A-Million in Ft. Myers along with a ridiculous, rigorous promotion schedule that will run from 6 AM to midnight. The signing itself is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on November 28th. The book is in stores right now, but the national promotion kicks in on December 4th. I'll also be in Sacramento, CA at the Border's on Douglas Blvd. at 3:00 PM on December 3rd. I want to personally thank my bro Barry Levine. If he hadn't hooked me up with Laurie, none of this would have happened. Not this book or me being in “Driftwood”. Barry has been my manager for some time now and he put me in front of Laurie Dolphin the woman who laid out the YRG concept in book form and Barry put in front of the director of “Driftwood”Tim Sullivan... In both situations he said to me bro I will get you in the door after that it is up to you... Thanks bro.

Even though I've been insanely busy, I found time to hook up with some of my best bros. Los Lonely Boys and Superman's dad himself John Schneider at a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Of course, I had to head out for Halloween with Ang and a buddy of ours named Jana. I went as Toby Keith. The week before Jana got us invited to Heff’s ... Yeah the Playboy Mansion... Here a picture of one of the painted ladies... Yes she is only wearing PAINT... What a life...

Also, on December 4th, my bro RichInKC, the webmaster, and I are dropping a whole new Diamond Dallas Page website. If the current site is a Cadillac. The new site, will be a Mercedes 600. Rich has found a new way to make the photos and the videos so much cooler and easier to use. We've basically outgrown the current design and Rich and I have been working for months to come up with a new design that you will love.
Until next time... it's been your pleasure ... As well as mine...

Hey Cutters...
I've got so many things going on that I haven't had time to write to you all for over a month now. In this email, I'll bring you up to date with stories about helping Hurricane Katrina victims, my latest movie Jack's Law, surfing in Costa Rica with my bro Murph the Surf, preparing for my next movie Driftwood, where's Smokey, Lee and Bo are at in YRG program, and being interviewed for the Wall Street Journal...yes, I said the Wall Street Journal.
Let's back up to when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. As we all know many of the survivors were sent all over the country to get a helping hand. To my surprise many of them ended up here in Los Angeles at a place called The Dream Center (http://www.dreamcenter.org). Like a lot of people, I felt helpless and was looking for a way to do something...

My memories of New Orleans are incredible. Some of you may remember that it was in the New Orleans Superdome in front of 33,000 people that I accepted an nWo t-shirt from Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. You could hear a pin drop as I put the shirt on and I hugged Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, apparently joining the nWo, but the roar of approval was deafening when I hit Scott Hall with the Diamond Cutter and then backdropped Kevin Nash over the ropes and through a table below. That was the first time I ever took off through the crowd and into a sea of people.
Needless to say, I have plenty of fond memories of New Orleans. A friend of mine, Jana, who I call sister Jana because Mother Theresa has already be taken... gave me a call and asked me if I wanted to go to the Los Angeles Dream Center to donate a bunch of stuffed animals she had gotten as a donation... She is always asking me to do things for kids... So I put together a whole batch of clothes to donate and went with her. When we got there, the response was incredible. I'd forgotten how important a friendly familiar face can be to people in desperate times. It really felt great. So great I'll be spending some more time there and taking some of the people there through my YRG program. My girl, Sister Jana, has already gotten the YRG (yoga) mats donated and she's looking for some heart monitors. So, if you feel like throwing in with a donation... Like a heart monitor email Jana directly at jana@itsallaboutthekids.org. And she will take care of the rest. While I was there, I joined other celebrities who were doing their part like Magic Johnson and Sugar Ray Leonard.

Next, I was off to Salt Lake city to begin filming Jack's Law, which stars Danny Trejo. Danny has done over 100 movies and always played the bad guy, the Mexican with the huge tattoo on his chest. Danny is a real life O.G. who, in his youth, spent time at San Quentin. Getting out of jail in his early 20s, he turned his life around and is a walking example of what everyone would love people to say about you. Of all the movie sets I've ever been on, Danny is by far the most beloved...it's really crazy. Everybody loves this guy. I've really gotten to know him and love him as well by spending so much time together of the last year and a half... It really crazy...I've worked on four of my last six films with Danny:The Devil's Rejects, Nice Guys, Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror, and now Gil Madina's... Jack's Law. Jack's Law is Charlie's Bronson's Death Wish of the new millennium, and I can't think of a better guy to play the lead Bronson good guy than a really good guy who has been a bad guy in over 100 films, Danny Trejo.

I play a guy named Spider who is Danny's #1 adversary... What a piece of sh-t I am in this flick... We meet in prison, and I'm talking about the real Utah State Penitentiary. Gil actually got us access to shoot inside the prison...that was a trip.

After doing the first half of my shooting for Jack's Law, I took off for Costa Rica with my buddy Murph The Surf. I was headed to meet one of the coolest cats who lives in one of the sweetest cribs on the planet named Chuck Kelly. Chuck invited 23 of his bros for their yearly surf vacation. I guess this trip started with 6 guys and is now up to 23. 23 guys in three houses right next to each other on the beach that are located right on the point of Playa Negro, Costa Rica... A kick ass surf spot. You gotta see all the pictures to really appreciate it. The sunsets, the surfing, some kick ass waves, and I got to meet some really cool regular guys. I think it's the first time I hung around with a bunch of guys my own age since I was in high school.

Of course, I did my YRG workout before I hit the waves to make sure I was loose as a goose before I got my a$$ kicked by those overhead waves. When I started doing the YRG workout with Murph, before I knew it there were two more guys, then three, then four. By the end of the week I had 9 guys trying the YRG workout on the beach. The funniest thing about Murph the Surf is that he is truly Murphy's Law waiting to happen. The first day, at Chuck's house, he bit into a frozen protein bar and broke his front tooth off... Here's a pic of Murph putting the diamond cutter on me...check out the tooth.
Later on that same day, Murph went out to surf with some huge double overhead waves and had his board smash him in the ribs and totally f*ck them up. That was the first day and he was a mess... This guy had me laughing almost as much as Smokey does.

When I wasn't surfing, there are some great shots of me and some of the guys going on a canopy ride, where you hook up to a steel cable and glide 200 feet in the air above the jungle. Now this was a trip. I was hanging upside down doing the Diamond Cutter and it was a loooong way down. I want to thank Chuck who is one of the greatest hosts I've ever met since my Park City friends J.T. and Diana. They must be related somehow. From there, Murph and I went to San Jose, picked up Ang and headed to Jaco to end up a great trip.
From there I headed back to Salt Lake City to finish up Jack's Law where I met Bob Burke, who you may remember from countless movies, including Robocop. Bob played Danny's former cop partner. Who else is in this movie? Jason Mewes of Silent Bob fame, Noel G, and I got to do a scene with one of my childhood heroes, Antonio Fargas, better known as Huggy Bear of Starsky & Hutch. Still one of the coolest cats alive.

After I finished with the movie I headed up to Park City to see my original favorite hosts on the planet, J.T. and Diana. For lady Di's birthday and then, it was back to L.A.
The latest updates on Smokey and Bo will be up within the next week. Lee Marshall will also hit us with an update. Lee has already lost 40 pounds doing YRG... Damn Lee is almost caught up to Smokey...

Speaking of YRG, if you didn't get a chance to read the article, click here. There is a kick-a$$ article written by Arnie Cooper about "Yoga for Regular Guys". It filled up the top third of the back page of the Leisure section of the Wednesday October 5th edition Wall Street Journal. Arnie was a very cool writer who actually came by my condo in LA to see me over a month ago and interviewed me for over three hours. He not only interviewed me, but he did the 45 minute YRG workout with me. He let me know that he'd been doing yoga and was up for a test. I took him to the limit and he passed with flying colors. You can tell from the article that he loved the YRG workout and he gets it. That's the big thing...he really got the YRG concept. I want to thank Arnie personally because I never thought in my life that I would ever be quoted in the Wall Street Journal. The WSJ also quoted my man Smokey. Remember Smokey is to YRG what Jared was to Subway. But my bro Smokey is the real deal... A to Z... If you haven't caught any of his Project Smokey articles, you need to check the site and watch Smokey lose weight and become flexible right before you very eyes... Great job RichInKC on the way those pictures change right before your very eyes...
Speaking of websites, Rich is working on an all new DiamondDallasPage.com site which will be ready for the launch of my book YRG..."Yoga for Regular Guys", the best friggin workout on the planet. You can pre-order the book right now and save yourself $6 on Amazon.com now if you want. Just CLICK here to go right to it.
Until next time... it's been your pleasure ... As well as mine...
