Afghanistan

Hey Guys

I've recently finished back to back Tours of Afghanistan and more recently Iraq... When I get back from a place like Afghanistan or Iraq I always have a whole bunch of stories from the places I've been and people I've met and lived with... stories about our troops... the guys and gals that who put their lives on the line for US everyday... Heroes... Real Heroes... it doesn't matter if believe in the war or you Hate the war... as Americans we always LOVE the WARRIOR... it always take me a while to write this email because I want to take you on the ride with me ... This was my 4th tour to see our troops and when I got home I started to write about my journey ... Now you have to understand when I write something like this having ADD and dyslexia it can take weeks... I was about half way finished with this email when I got an email from a Navy CPT Francis Lukenbill who shared with me what happened to his nephew after I left Iraq.

He was one of those kids who grew watching DDP in his living room when he was growing up maybe ages 5 through 12... like so many kids growing up in the late 90’s he loved the Monday Night Wrestling Wars every Monday and Thursday... So when he saw me in Iraq on his way to mission I must of seemed like a mirage... From what I heard he was more than a little excited to meet DDP... sometimes these guys are so excited meet one of their childhood heroes they will run over one of the beautiful women also on tour to get to them... It’s amazing the impact you can have on someone life... it's something I have never taken for granted... His name was SGT Christopher C. Simpson... When ever I take pictures with anyone I almost always put my right hand straight out in from of me making half my trademarked Diamond Cutter hand sign and get the other person complete the sign... everyone always laughs or at least smiles and has good time with it... I may do that same picture a 100 times in a row and then out of NO Where I go to do the hand sign and I reach up and grab the guys neck in the real Diamond Cutter and everyone POPS BIG TIME... they love it... this will email is the about one of those times... it's so personal to me that after writing the email over and over again I realize that this is the only thing that belongs in this trip to Iraq...

These are the exact emails ... I asked the families if it was OK to let you read and they loved the idea... like so many families they do not want their sons to be forgotten...

Subject: Diamond Dallas Page Fan Killed in the Line of Duty
Dear Diamond Dallas,
My name is Francis Lukenbill, Uncle of SGT Christopher C. Simpson USA. The attached photo is of the two of you during a recent visit you made to Iraq. This is a beautiful picture...one loved by Chris.
Sadly, Christopher was killed in action on Monday 17 March while honorably and willingly serving his country. He and his friend SSGT Mike Elledge were taken swiftly and painlessly as their Humvee was cowardly attacked.
His mother, father, brother, fiancé , and a multitude of relatives and friends are grief stricken by this tragedy. Please accept the family's thanks for giving us the image of the two of you that we laughed over many an hour during the past few weeks.
Remember him and all who serve. Thank you, too, for visiting them in country... Sincerely, (Uncle) Luke

Needless to say this hit me hard…I had to breath through it and then wrote Uncle Luke this note:
Luke,
Hey bro I just received your email and I can't begin to tell you how sorry I was to read about your loss... it brings tears to my eyes as I am writing this email while flying back home from NY where I did a personal appearance and reffed a match last night... Of course I hit someone with a Diamond Cutter as well... Chris would have loved it...Many people have let me know that they are proud of me for going over to see our boys in Iraq and Afghanistan yet there are others who ask me why I continue to do it... it's to dangerous they say... My response is always the same... I quote Demi Moore from "A Few Good Men" when she is asked the question why do you love the guys so much... her reply ... "Because they are the ones who stand on the wall and risk there lives every day and say... your going to be safe tonight..." I'm not sure if that is the exact quote but it gets the point across...
So many guys come up to me while I was over there (this was my 4 trip over... once to Afghanistan and my 3rd to Iraq) ... they would tell me how they grew up watching me in there living rooms and many have even told me it was like I was part of their family... That's powerful to me... and then they say something like... you just don't know DDP... you just don't know... but I do... I know what it means to these boys to get to hang out with a guy they dreamed of being like...their childhood hero... I do know and it always brings a HUGE smile to my face as I see their faces light up... no matter how burned out I am at the time those guys and gals totally energizes me... that's why when I go over there I try to do more than just shake hands and make them laugh by putting them in the Diamond Cutter like I did to Chris... Btw... I did the Diamond Cutter picture hundreds of times on that last tour and I actually remember taking this picture with Chris... He loved it... I hadn't done it that day till right there and he loved it... The Diamond Cutter move would always come out of no where... so it surprised the boys and made them laugh and remember... it took them out of that shit hole they were living in for just a moment and all of a sudden they were back in there living rooms and DDP just popped through their TV and put a Diamond Cutter on them... when ever I did it like that it was always priceless... and I then I wouldn't do it for awhile unless some asked to have me to put them in the Diamond Cutter...which was always my honor to do... When ever I would get the chance to do a setting where I could actually have the boys sit down and speak to them for about an hour I would talk about my concept of Living Life at 90% ... the formula is (Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% about how you react to it... then I would do a Q an A with them or even take them through my YRG workout... I really love spending that kind of Quality time with them... but any contact at all is always as morale boosting for them as it is for ME...
I may have been one of Chris's hero but just so you know... he was and is my HERO and I won't forget him... I will put this picture up on my wall in my house... So he's never forgotten... Thank you so much for sending me the picture of him and I together... if it's Ok with you I would like to put this up when I write my next email story about going to Iraq for my Diamond Dallas Page site... I would also like to put the email you wrote me within my email as well if it is all right with you... I think to many people forget who and where these guys are (out of site out of mind) and I believe it's important that they are reminded so they are not forgotten... but you let me know bro... I'll do what ever works for you...
Deepest Sympathy to all your family and friends

His Uncle emails me and then his Mom:
Dear DDP,
I can not tell you how your awesome note has blessed and touched our family. I called Chris' mom, Kate (my sister) when I saw your note in my in box. I could not wait to share it...she was on the cell phone with Chris' father, Scott, at the same time (kinda two fisting it...). He was equally touched. I immediately forwarded your e-mail to as many family and friends as I could and Kate and Scott are doing the same as we speak. As a friend of mine just said after reading your note, "This is really beautiful...I can't believe how Chris is still affecting people's lives in new and beautiful ways..." How true this is...
Chris' family is totally supportive of your use of the photo and e-mail...anything to help your cause and others in Harms Way. We live in a great country for sure...Chris would want to share...his heart was huge and his love for his fellow man was equally grand.
The fact that you actually remembered Chris is very special...you are family now!
There are many military personnel in our clan and please know that if there is anything we can ever do for you in support of your outreach...you must let me know.
Thank you for your courage and I know I speak for you when I say, thank you, SGT Christopher Curtis Simpson, for yours.
God's Speed to you...
Gratefully,
Uncle Luke, Captain, United States Navy
PS. My wife, Joy, quoted Demi More this week as well...you got it perfect!

Dear Diamond Dallas,
My name is Kate and I am the mother of our Fallen HERO Christopher. I will never forget the phone call that I got shortly after his Diamond Cutter. He said. "Mom you are never going to believe what happened to me" Of course my response “No Chris probably not”. He said Diamond Dallas Page just put me in a Diamond Cutter. I say " Chris who and what is that and he proceeded to tell me.
When I saw the picture that he sent me my heart was filled with joy, I was very excited for him that he got to meet some great people. He touched the lives of many. I thank you for touching his life in the time of need when i was not there. He was a mommy’s boy and called me ever other day if not ever day even being over there. I would continuously tell him how proud I was and how much I love him. Maybe at some point if you are ever in the Hampton VA area I would be happy to share videos. I am going to miss his smile his soft spoken words and the phone calls but I know that someone had a greater mission for him. I thank you again for all you do and continue to do to support our troops. I am honored that that picture will be hanging in your house you were his HERO.
Please use the picture again I am Honored but if you could send me you web page site I would love to see the article. As I told Chris I'm computer illiterate so e-mail is about my speed.
Thanks again for what you do and never hesitate to contact my brother for what ever he will be more then happy to help. He is incredible. He has been military for 25 years and he told me his most difficult but honorable mission was escorting his nephew home. I have a bond with him that will last forever (even closer then siblings) It gave me comfort to know that Chris was with someone he loved and respected very much and Luke talked to him the whole trip. Thanks again for our memory that I will cherish for ever and your picture will to hang in my house.

Hey Guys

I know you all want to hear about my trip to Iraq, which was a great adventure. But it is going to take me a few weeks to write all of that up.

In the meantime I have been flooded with questions on www.myspace.com/yrgworkout ,www.diamonddallaspage.com and even www.yrgworkout.com asking me about Ric Flair’s retirement and Wrestlemania. Let me address the Nature Boy first…many of you know by the comments of what Ric Flair thought about DDP in his book (I don't remember the name) and my response on youtube (you will have to search for it to find it), that Ric and Page’s relationship was never one of real friendship. Ric was always a class act and cool in my face but behind my back he never believed I had what it took to be a top guy. Early on in my career Ric ran the show at WCW and I was one level up from a job guy (a guy who loses all the time). To Ric’s credit why would he believe in a guy who started at 35, tore his rotator cuff at 36 and got fired…and came back at 37 would ever be a top guy... It had never happened before... Looking back I guess I understand why he thought I would never be anything in this business.

That being said, The Nature Boy Ric Flair , the leader of the 4 horseman, the limousine riding, lear jet flying, 60 minute man… is something I grew up watching and admiring in my early 20’s…who didn’t want to be the Nature Boy…Whooo! With what I achieved in the wrestling business and working with Ric from 1997 on I thought I had overcame all the hurdles of getting Ric’s respect. That is until someone told me what he wrote about me, Diamond Dallas Page , in his book…If I am not mistaken he also buried Mick Foley and Brett Hart so I guess I am in pretty good company. All that being said, I have pretty much always been able to separate Ric from the Nature Boy Ric Flair the TV character. To me the Nature Boy Ric Flair has always been the best of the best, he transcends the words Legend and Icon…just like Dusty Rhodes said the Nature Boy Ric Flair is a National Treasure. I thought he had a spectacular match with HBK at Wrestlemania. I also thought this was one of the best WM’s in a long time. That a guy could wrestle for 36 years and deliver that match at 59 years old is nothing less than spectacular.

In the 1980’s The Nature Boy helped change the face of professional wrestling. His charismatic passion and warmth ran through the crowd like a running stream of hot water. The Nature Boy loves and lived to wrestle!

HBK’s sendoff “I’m sorry, I love you” before he knocked him out was straight from the heart. It reminded me of the time I watched Larry Holmes send “The Greatest” Muhammad Ali off into the pasture. Shawn didn’t want to put Flair out but like Larry he knew he had to and if any one was one to do it ... it should be him.

Do I honestly think you will never see Ric Flair in the ring again? Stop it! Ha! Nature Boy and Vince left everybody wanting more… I'll believe the Nature Boy career is really over the day the Rolling Stones stop touring…

I thought that this was one of the best WrestleMania’s in long time. I was wondering how Big Show was going to make a match with a 5’7” 147 pound guy watchable…but he didn’t just make it watchable, I really enjoyed it. And if you haven’t watched it then find it or buy the replay…having done celebrities matches with Karl Malone, Dennis Rodman and Jay Leno I know what goes into these matches and it is a lot of work…Mayweather is a great showman and athlete but just because you have been watching wrestling since you were a little kid doesn’t mean you can get in the ring and do it. Big Show took care of him and the kid took some stiff bumps. I guarantee you his entire body was never that sore after a boxing match. Today Mayweather fights maybe twice a year…Big Show is on the road wrestling for more than 250 days…even Ken Shamrock said he got hurt more in wrestling ring than he ever did in the UFC.

I pretty much raised the Big Show in his early days in the wrestling business. I actually helped him get ready for his first match ever with Hogan and traveled with him his first 5 years….to say I am proud of him would be an understatement. The thing that I love most about this match is that the people were really behind Big Show, like they were behind Andre back in the day…if Show is handled properly he may finally be able to fill the Giants boots…he sure as hell has the talent and charisma to do it.

The Triple threat match for the WWE championship was tremendous as well. Great psychology and near falls. Like most of you I thought there was no way they would keep the title on Orton even though that is what I wanted to see. Watching that match unfold I could tell that, as always, HHH was the ring General. The match and finish was phenomenal. Even though Randy didn’t win with the RKO/Diamond Cutter…

It brought me back to June of 2002 when I called Randy Orton and told him I was going to retire and I told him I wanted him to take my Diamond Cutter finish…he was so respectful he said “No Diamond, that is yours, you came up with that” and I said “Randy, I don’t want some Jabroni ripping it off…I want you to keep it going and take it to another level”...and he has. I believe someday Randy will become the biggest baby face in the company.

But my favorite match was for the World Title with Edge and the Undertaker. Going in, there was no way I thought Taker would take a loss at WM being 15-0. But the story they told was so good that the last 5 minutes of that match they both had me actually believing at times that this was going to be the end of the winning streak with one tremendous false finish after another. For Taker being 6’9”, 280+ pounds and 43 years old he brought it the same way he did when he was 33 and I know how beat up his body is…damn he must have been sore the next day. A great wrestling match is all about creating the element of doubt. As a fan, you are so sure that this guy is going to win or lose and then BANG!...we flip it on you. I thought Edge losing to Taker moved him even further up the ladder. Reminded me of the time that Stone Cold lost to Brett Hart…which literally made Austin a made man. In other words, I really enjoyed WM. So those are my thoughts... in the next week or so I'll send out the email on my journey back to Iraq.

You can comment on Blogs and Forums, get support, join the YRG Chat room and even ask me... DDP... any questions you may have...about YRG, I won't be answering whether wrestling is fake or not, Hah! On the opening page you will see the most inspirational video on the planet... I know that's a BOLD STATEMENT ... but trust me, I can back it UP... Just go check it out and leave a comment in the blog section on the NEW www.YRGWorkout.com website and while your there Join Team YRG.
Now any of you on the West Coast that want to get rid of some of those extra Holiday pounds, make sure to join me at Equinox in Santa Monica, CA on Monday nights at 7:15PM. I am also at the Playa Vista Sports Park at 10:00 AM on Saturdays and 11:00 AM on Sundays. Click here for more info.
Just to remind you I will be in Afghanistan from Jan 19th through the 28th with Greg Valentine, Jimmy Hart, and Nikolai Volkoff. While there, I will be speaking to the troops about my inspirational concept of Living Life at 90% and taking each base through the YRG Workout. So if you know anyone over there, let them know we are coming.

On a Final note, I got to go to the Rose Bowl this year. My good friends Chris and Jim Click invited me and Marlon and we had a blast... We met a lot of really great people at the before party and the Clicks are two of the most gracious and generous guys I've ever met. We got there early for a killer buffet... cocktails and poker... I haven't played poker in years... I had forgotten how much fun it is especially when you win... Ha! My buddies team on the other hand didn't win... but boy were those USC fans were happy... I wasn't really concerned who won I was there to enjoy the spectacle since I've never been to one. To see more picture go to the site...

Make this a great holiday!!

Hey Cutters...
Well I got back in the ring for the first time in almost 2 years last week in Philly…I don’t know if you would call it getting back in the ring but I did hit a couple of Diamond Cutters at the PWU 3rd anniversary PWU Red Carpet event.
Johnny Cashmere brought me in to host his first segment in the old ECW arena the “Bingo Hall”. The place was standing room only. After doing the bat cave segment where they were looking for the next Commissioner of the PWU, I came back to do some play by play for the match with Too Cold Scorpio and Joey Mathews. In Joey’s corner was Dan “The Beast”Severn. This was a really good match and the color commentators I worked with were incredible. Too Cold and Joey put on a hell of a show. By the end of the match the referee got knocked out and the Beast hit the ring to double up on Scorpio. That is when DDP jumped into the ring and hit Severn and Joey with Diamond Cutters…the place went crazy! Before I knew it Devon Moore slid in there and gave me a low blow that took me down and then he started pounding on Scorpio. Right then the lights went out…and when the lights came up the one and only Sandman was in the ring. Everybody scrambled as Too Cold, Sandman and I took center stage.

The chants of “Welcome Back”for Sandman were overwhelming. Actually had Sandman doing a little YRG in the back before the show…he loved it. About 5 of the guys got the YRG DVD and boy do they need it. On top of that my Boy Dylan who has lost 56 pounds with YRG in his first 3 months came up for the show. He brought his future ex-girlfriend (yes girls, Dylan is available again) his Mom and his sister Allie (she is a cutie pie). As a special gift for achieving his 90 day YRG goals I gave him a present...a Diamond Cutter from DDP right in the middle of the ring (you can see it at www.myspace.com/yrgworkout ) He actually requested it so I delivered! So after laying down 3 Diamond Cutters in one night did I feel it the next morning? Hell yes I did! But I iced my body down and did my YRG and now I am Unstoppable again!

In other wrestling news, a few weeks ago I got a chance to see my good buddies Jimmy Yang and Chuck Palumbo at a WWE event at Venice beach promoting SummerSlam. It was great to see Jimmy since I have known him since he was 15 years old. He came to my house Halloween 1997 dressed as Sting... he's the face behind the NWO guy and his buddy Ryan was dressed as DDP…taped ribs and all... I love that picture... It was also good to see Chuck is finally getting a break and is one of the few characters in professional wrestling who has a gimmick that is actually an extension of personality. Chuck’s new character is a biker and that’s what Chuck is in real life…He builds bikes too. I have some great pics on the site of Chuck, Chris Masters and Chuck’s bike.

To close out the wrestling news if you want to see me back in the ring again wrestling... You can see me battle it out with the one and only Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell on October 5th as Full Throttle Energy Drink presents Pro Wrestling Live! Friday Night, October 5th at 8 PM at The Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachusetts (on the campus of University of Massachusetts Amherst) and if you miss that, you can catch me in South Carolina on October 6th with the CWA... go to the site and get all the details... www.CWAprowrestling.com or http://tapq.com/cwaprowrestling/images/flyers/oct_06_07/fly100607_453x700.jpg ...
I've got two words for Mr. Bagwell ... Diamond Cutter!
In YRG news, I've got one word... BANG! With three games under his belt, Derrick Brooks, the 9 time All-Pro and Tampa Bay are 2-1 and DB has a total of 25 tackles 22 solo tackles and 3 asst. Damn...... Two weeks ago Brooks 34 years young put a hit on 22 year old Reggie Bush that damn near knocked him out of his spikes to show that this YRG Warrior still has it and then some…DB started doing YRG when the book came out over 2 years ago. When the YRG DVD’s came out I personally went to FL and trained Derrick myself and he has never has stopped... If you want to see what DB personally thinks about YRG go to www.YRGWorkout.com and read in his own words what he has to say... go to the See the Results section and you'll see him big as life... Derrick and I are presently talking about bringing YRG to the Florida Governor's Counsel on Fitness for public schools this fall. I will see DB on Game day October 14 on the field with Smokey, Gomez, Chris and CJ watch the game on the sidelines.

Another note on YRG, if you wanna see how two young studs put on muscle mass with YRG go to www.YRGWorkout.com and see if the Page brothers, 13 and 15 years old, achieved their goals of gaining 20 and 16 pounds of muscle mass over the 90 days of summer... The Page's are on the front page...

Hey Cutters...
As I start this email I need to write about 2 good friends of mine that have passed away recently. The first is a guy named Terry MacGovern, a true legend from the Jersey Shore. When I first heard about Terry's death from his son Sean, it didn't really hit me. After I hung up the phone, it hit me like a left hook out of nowhere. I hadn't cried that much since my Gram died...
Terry was a MANS ... MAN! He had been Bruce Springsteen's right hand man for the last 20 plus years and a big brother to me for over 30 years. The first time I actually met Terry, he was literally throwing me out of the Riptide bar... actually that's how I was introduced to Terry the first 3 times. At the time, I was 18 and he picked me up and threw me out of the bar like I was a 5 year old on 3 separate occasions. Terry was a former Navy Seal and a big bad ass looking dude back then. As he tossed me on my ass the last time he said "Page... I don't ever want to see you back here again... Got it"... he was pissed...
The following weekend I started working at my first night club as a bouncer at Art Stock's Royal Manor. A week later, I summoned up to courage and went back to apologize to Terry, and I said "I'm sorry, bro, I get it now" ... lol It seems so funny now. He smiled, and when Terry cracked a smile it meant something. Terry liked most people but if he didn't ... you knew it... you always knew where you stood with him. He knew I got it, invited me back in the bar, and even bought me a drink. He said to me as I was leaving the Riptide that night, "I don't expect that I'll be throwing you out again... right?" ...And he was right. Terry would become a mentor and an inspiration to me. He was a total man of character, but he just wasn't an inspiration to just me, he was also one to Bam Bam Bigelow, as well. Both being from the Jersey Shore, I have known Bam Bam since he was 16 years old. Terry was so proud of the both of us and what we accomplished in our lives. Before Bam Bam and I actually ended up working together in WCW, we would often meet up at one of the many Bruce Springsteen concerts that Terry got us invited to and it was always the Red Carpet treatment for me and everyone I brought with me. Hell, I didn't even have to be there... Whenever I would ask Terry to hook up one or six of my friends he always treated them like family.

The first match I ever had in the Meadowlands, Terry was there and he was there at the Garden for one of my last. That first match in the Meadowlands I got my ass beat all over the building but Terry was still proud as Hell. I believe he was the proudest when he came to see me as the World Heavyweight Champion and then again when Bam Bam and I were the World Tag Team Champions. Terry loved that we were two Jersey boys who had done good... Terry was one of those very few guys you come across in life. When he said he was going to do something...He actually did it. I loved you, brother…always will. Thanks for EVERYTHING! You will be apart of my life forever.
Another buddy of mine that recently passed away was Brian Adams and it really to took me by surprise. There are guys in the business that I came up with that partied hardy. I have also known guys that were addicted to pain killers and muscle relaxers in and out of the ring, but the Brian that I knew did not fall into either of these categories. The Brian Adams I knew was one of the funniest guys in the business. Now I know he may have not have come across like that on TV but trust me…he was one funny SOB. Brian was quiet a story teller, as well. The thing I loved the most about him was when he used to impersonate this Japanese wrestler named Tiger (can’t remember his last name)... Tiger spoke with a broken Japanese accent but as Brian would say it was like he thought he was an Italian gangster and talked that way…that's funny by itself. I never met Tiger but being around Brian for so many years... I felt like I knew him. For that reason I used to always call Brian... Tiger. Brian would tell countless stories about him impersonating Tiger and calling the boys on the phone and cutting promos which would get Tiger a ton of heat. Tiger never knew it was Brian causing him all this havoc, it was always Brian playing a rib! The last time I saw Brian he was at WrestleReunion in Tampa. He was a good Bro and I will miss many things about him... most of all his easy going humor and the conversations I would have with Tyger... God Bless you bro, I'm gonna miss you.

On a more positive note, I have to tell you that after being out here in Hollywood for the last 5 years all the hard work is finally starting to pay off. For starters, I just got the biggest break of my life this week... I just got picked up by The Firm... The Firm is the biggest and best talent management agency in the world and they handle damn close to every top artist. So, trust me... when I walked into my meeting at The Firm with Jason Verona (a Jersey boy like me) and Kris Primacio (a Seattle sweetheart)... I actually said to them... To be honest with you guys I didn't come here with the fantasy that I am going to leave with The Firm's representation... I know this is the big time... I actually told them I thought I had a better shot at getting picked up to play for the Lakers... lol ... Even though it was without a doubt the best meeting I ever had, I wasn't going to let myself be unrealistic. I have been out here in the land of LA long enough to know you can have the best meeting ever and nothing can come of it... Hey, but that's the entertainment business... it comes with the territory. When I got the call from Jason and Kris the next day telling me that they wanted to represent me, I was a little more than pleasantly surprised. I have worked so hard for so long... yes I've had some help from friends but I have never had a manager that could take the whole DDP brand to the next level... To have Jason and Kris on board and have them really get it is HUGE for me... and the coolest part is they are as excited to have me on board as I am them. Very F'n cool. It was Barry Levine that set me up with the meeting with Jason and Kris. Barry has helped me get just about every break I've ever had in the land of LA... Thanks bro you are a true friend...
People always say that it's all who you know... or who knows you. I'm here to tell you that it's all about who's willing to say they know you... who's willing to put their name on the line for you.

On top of that, I just finishing putting together our deal for the YRG infomercials. YRG Workout LLC. has partnered up with Paramedia which is a division of Warner Brothers and In Clover who knows the infomercial business inside and out. We also are now working with Nina Resnikoff who has become known as the Infomercial Queen. She produced many of Tony Robbins' infomercials which is great for me because I now see DDP the brand as Tony Robbins meets Jack Lalanne meets Ozzy F’n Osbourne. If you go to YRGWorkout.com and hit the See the Results section you will see that we have Team YRG members that have gotten unbelievable results. Out of the hundreds of Team YRG members what we have, most are men…which is great because no other workout has this many men who get and keep track of their results. I know there are many of you women achieving results with YRG out there as well. If you want to be a member of Team YRG or want the opportunity to be considered to be part of our YRG infomercial then I want to hear from you. Whether you have been doing YRG for 6 months or just starting the program… Contact me NOW at ... ... I want to know what your results are with the YRG workout.
n

Speaking of AMAZING RESULTS, YRG team member 48 years old Arthur Boorman lost 100 pounds in 6 months with YRG. 16 year old Dylan is down 45 pounds in 2 months and 28 year old Big Rob who just started with Team YRG at 476 pounds is down 36 lbs pounds in 30 days…and the funniest part is that Yoga Doc, Kim and I did not develop the YRG program to help people lose weight. YRG was developed for the Warrior... YRG is the best low impact, high cardio workout that builds core strength and increases flexibility on the planet…that helps all Warriors hold back the hands of time... that it helps people lose drastic amounts of weight is a sweet extra benefit...
To see the real stories on members of Team YRG go to YRGWorkout.com.

On the movie scene, if you are looking to see some of the films I have been talking about for the last 2 years ... then keep an eye out for me this fall because when it rains it pours. The first to be released on DVD on September 11th will be Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror. I play a character named Jersey, a bodyguard for 2 rappers. This is a trilogy of horror stories in the hood and a lot of fun.

Splinter is the movie SEVEN meets the Hispanic Boys in the Hood. The DVD will be out later this this fall…I will keep you posted on the dates.
Driftwood will be coming out on DVD is November 13th... I play a character named Captain Doug Kennedy who runs an attitude adjustment camp for kids. The Captain is not a very nice guy. This is a movie I have a huge part in and is by far the best work I have ever done. CLICK HERE TO ORDER NOW …AND BE THE FIRST TO SEE TIM SULLIVAN’S MUCH ANTICIPATED FOLLOW-UP TO 2001 MANIACS STARRING RAVIV ULLMAN, DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE AND TALAN TORRIERO.

Hey Cutters...
I know it's been a couple months since my last email so this one may be a little long but after the beginning it's mostly updates.
I have to start with what everyone is talking about... Chris Benoit. Like all of you, when I first heard the news about Chris , I was shocked, more than shocked I thought there must be some other explanation. I had just run into Chris in the Atlanta airport about a month ago. When we saw each other we both dropped our bags and hugged each other. It was old friends just bumping into each other as they ran through life. I was laying over in Atlanta on my way to Jersey for WrestleReunion and I believe he was heading overseas for a tour which were always long and hard on your body and your mind. He looked tired, very tired but that's a part of the business asI know only to well. Being the warrior that Chris was... he was on his way to do what he loved most... Wrestle... The Chris Benoit that I knew has always been a man of character. He was the most respected man in and out of the locker room, bar none. Chris had the strongest work ethic I've ever seen. He was polite to everyone and I never saw him lose his temper... not even once. He was man that lead by example and he was a mentor to many. Which is what makes this whole situation so bizarre.
Over the last week I have been asked to do many TV programs to give my opinion about what happened... but I have chosen not to because I wasn't there. I also did not want to feed the crazy frenzy that has taken over our media in the last few years. When was the last time you saw something positive come out of the media? Do you ever hear about anyone who has done anything that's good anymore? We are constantly bombarded with the negative... and I refuse to feed that animal. On the other hand, I thought Chris Jericho did a phenomenal job speaking on behalf of Chris while at the same time he explained that nobody understood how this tragedy was possible. I thought Chris Jericho was very articulate and was the best representation we could have had from a pro-wrestler who was also a very close friend for of Chris Benoit.
The story, as we all know, is centered around steroids and roid rage. It's my personal belief that if steroids are part of this story, and I'm sure they are in some way, it is only a small part. There so are many things that could contribute to what happened over that weekend and it is simple to blame a drug and not the circumstance. In my opinion there had to be some sort of mental illness that stepped into Chris's life to be able to commit such a horrible act. He loved Nancy and his son. I can't believe Chris went home that day to kill them. There must have been some sort of domestic dispute that escalated and got out of control and before Chris knew it Nancy was dead. It is so tragic on so many levels. My deepest sympathy goes out to Nancy and Chris's families.
I also want to send out my deepest sympathies to the family of Sherri Martel's as well. I met Sherri in the late 80s when I was working in the AWA. She'd come by the night club I was running called Norma Jean's Dance Club in Ft. Myer, Florida. She was on her way from Miami to Tampa for her next WWF shot. She didn't even know I ran the club but she knew who I was and, of course, I knew who she was... when we met we immediately became fast friends. Sherri had a phenomenal career in our business. One of my favorite gimmicks that she had, I'm sure not many people even new it was her was Peggy Sue, the valet for the Honky Tonk Man. I always loved that gimmick, I guess it was because I always found the Honky Tonk Man very entertaining and they were a great pair. Sherri was great manager and knew how to get her heat... but she was also a great worker as well... trained by the Great Moolah. Sherri Martel paid her dues in this crazy business of ours and she had an unbelievable run. No matter what character she was playing, babyface or heel, she played it with passion. She was a good friend and she will be missed.

On a more positive note, I went to WrestleReunion a few weeks back in New Jersey. Kurt Angle was the headliner. Also there were Mil Mascaras, myself, Kimberly, Madusa, Ahmed Johnson, just to name a few.
One of the really cool things that happened on that trip was that Arthur Boorman, a member of Team YRG who's lost 75 pounds in 4 months came to see me as well. Arthur has totally reconstructed his body and his mind (to see his story goto http://www.yrgworkout.com/Arthur.html to watch and read his journey). He drove up to see me from Maryland to go to WrestleReunion and to get in some YRG with DDP. Another member of Team YRG, Scott Perry, came in from New York and a young kid named Dylan Frymyer came in from Pennsylvania. I mention this because Dylan's mom, Barb, bought him the Own Your Life YRG package from www.YRGworkout.com site.
Now you need to know that anyone who buys the YRG dvd's gets an email directly from me. Barb got one and sent me a return email asking me if I could give her 5' 7'', 292 lb son some inspiration to help him lose his weight. Barb's emails were very heartfelt so I continued to email back and forth. Eventually I asked for her number and I gave them a call. I talked to Barb and Dylan's to see just how serious his want and desire was to change his direction. Like I said they bought the entire package so now Dylan had the tools for Owning his Life, but would he really follow through and do the work needed to over come being over 100 lbs over weight at just 16? Dylan and I talked about the discipline it would take to really own his life. During those phone calls, Dylan told me that he was most inspired by Arthur's story that he read on the YRGWorkout.com. When I told him that Arthur was going to at WrestleReunion, which Dylan was going to as well, he was as excited to meet Arthur as he was to meet me. He was also going to get to do the YRG workout with all three of us.

We all know that children's obesity is a health crisis in our country. I believe that you just may see Dylan step up and be a leader in helping many young teenagers take control of their lives. I've been in contact with him over the last 3 week and on July 5th, he'll be in for his 30 day weigh-in. Like many members of Team YRG who want to lose a drastic amount of weight, I have a hands-on approach as long, as they are willing to put the work in. With this type of situation I just don't teach you about the YRG workout. I also teach you how to eat a healthy lifestyle and how to train you brain to accomplish your goals using S.M.A.C.K.D.O.W.N. We all know life is filled with adversities and we really can't control most things that happen around us, but what WE CAN CONTROL is the way we think... how we adapt to the adversities... WE CAN CONTROL what we put in our mouths... how we eat and WE CAN CONTROL how we breathe... but to CONTROL all of these things within ourselves we MUST train ourselves and it is an on going process... the really cool thing is... ANYONE CAN DO THIS... once you have made... and OWN the DECISION to Just Do it... I know Dylan is very excited about his July 5th weigh-in and I will tell you in the next email just how he did.

While I was up in NJ, I also went in to NYC and stopped by to see Dee Snider, lead singer of Twisted Sister and who nows has his own Sirius Satellite radio show on the Fangoria Radio channel. Dee and Debbie are such great hosts. My ten minute segment on Sirus went closer to thirty minutes. Dee put over the YRG workout big time and even interviewed Arthur. It was classic. Again, pictures are on the site... I want to thank Steve Yu for coming up and getting some great pictures and some great video of us all working out together.
What's NEW on www.DiamondDallasPage.com
ENTOURAGE ... Remember when I told you I was filming a spot for Entourage with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, and Nikolai Volkoff... well I finally found it... this is that piece... it's pretty funny and I think worth the watch... it's on the front page of www.DiamondDallasPage.com ... This piece played on Comcast in the extra's area for Entourage.
LIVING LIVE ... I recently appeared on Living Live with Florence "Mrs. Brady" Henderson and Meshach Taylor to talk about changing lives with YRG... again... if you want to watch it... it's on the front page of www.DiamondDallasPage.com

Keep an eye out for an article in ESPN Magazine that should be coming out this summer about YRG, DDP and the Yoga Doc training the Georgia Tech football and basketball teams. Football players and basketball players aren't the only athletes doing YRG. Jeff Farley, who was fifth in the world last year for hitting the long ball in golf, got together with me so I could help train him in YRG. I went down to the golf course and got some great shots. Jeff was blasting them off the tee. His goal this year is to be number one in the world.
Went into wine country a few weeks back for an anniversary getaway with Angella to Cambria. This I a beautiful seashore town in central California. While there, we went to Castoro's Cellars for some wine tasting. If you're on the central coast of California, you should check it out because their wines are extraordinary and very reasonably priced. http://www.castorocellars.com
Saw the TNA's last Pay Per View, Slammiversay. It was by far their best PPV show to date. Samoa Joe had the move of the night by hitting my boy Christian Cage with a Diamond Cutter off the top of the ladder. Now that's one I never even did. Great job, Joe and Christian.

And if you missed Angie's BBQ Birthday Bash check out some of the shots. We had a lot of our friends coming by to have some of the best BBQ on the planet cooked by Craig on a perfect Sunday.
Plus I want to remind you tha I am back at Equinox on Second Avenue and Santa Monica in Santa Monica, Ca. every Monday for a YRG class that starts at 7:15 pm... if you want to come I would love to see you, just tell them at the desk that you are there to do YRG with DDP and they will let you in for Free... I don't know how long that will last but it's cool for now so come on down. A 7:15 pm class is a much better time so we are expecting this class to take off in the next few months so try to get there a little early... Hope to see you there... to learn more go to... they are still letting you in for free but that's going to change to $10 soon so get in while it's free... for more information click here.
I will also be starting up on Stickam.com on every Tuesday night starting July 17th at 9 pm (est) if you have any questions for me in regards to the YRG workouts, Isonkenitics, the heart monitor, how to understand what you are putting in your mouth (food) or anything to do with YRG... to sign up to be able to see me live click here www.stickam.com/profile/dallaspage and register...
By the way, Jakks Pacific has released an action figure of DDP as part of the WWE Legends series. I'm really JAKKED about this action figure. I came out great. If you're interested in picking up one, you can find it at your local retailer.
As usual it has been your pleasure... As well as mine...
