Hey Cutters...
I'm gonna be starting off each email with a different video clip that we have posted on YOUTUBE... if you would go by and check it out and give us a rating (and you better make it a good one... just kidding) and a comment. I would really appreciate it... and of course you can send it off to your friends if you thinks they would like it... The first clip I am sending out is my favorite... it is from the filming of the YRG workout where I get challenged to do 10 seconds pushups contest by Ted Evans... Btw this clip is entitled 71 year old man kicks DDP's A$$... this YOUTUBE clip is must... to really appreciate it... watch it to the end to hear Ted's comments... totally Classic...
To watch the Challenged hit this...
CONTEST NOTE: Want to hang out with Diamond Dallas Page and get fit Here's your chance. If you're in the LA area send an e-mail to: X@AM570RADIO.COM Tell us why you should com in-studio to meet Diamond Dallas Page and learn his new program the THE YRG WORKOUT program Yoga For Regular Guys/GALS. We are taking all entries through March 23rd. 3 lucky names will be picked and the winners will be brought in-studio to meet DDP and have him personally introduce you to his YRG program.
As usual things have been crazy busy the last couple of weeks... I want to start off by telling about one you one of the coolest happen to me in quiet some time. My girl Angella reunited me with some old friends... the Page's... I first met the 5 Page's back in 1996... Diamond Dallas Page the television character and the Dallas Page the man (who we all know is also a character...lol)... was just getting ready to take on the ride of a lifetime... But before that wild ride started I was spending lot of time at home on the my computer learning how to type with Mario Teaches Typing and sometimes going online. I was actually the first wrestler to have his own website thanks to my webmaster Rich Schmick and later to Brian Bentley... Kimberly was the one who was online the most... mainly because she could type and READ way better than I... Kimberly would always bring to my attention different people who she would meet online that were way cool... She is the whole reason Rich and I ever hooked up and she also introduced me to 5 Page's... Rob Page was a happily married man who had 3 great kids ages 2, 3, 4... they were young but they were still huge wrestling fans... This picture was taken in 1997... Tyler age 4 (with the home made DDP t-shirt) and Christian age 3 with Kim laughing in the back round... I was wearing an other classic DDP t-shirt... which says... I have a positive attitude and I'm positive you suck... funny...
I stayed close with the Page's for a few years and then an unfortunate accident happened and their mom died... of course it was the hardest on the family... I did what I could to help the Page's out but my schedule got crazy and I lost touch with one of my favorite families that started as fans and became friends. Well that all changed when Angella got an email from Tyler some time last month. Tyler had written Angella on her myspace account... myspace... funny right... I would find out later that he saw Angella's picture and read her story on the Transformations section of our YRGworkout.com site ... Tyler had also read one of these emails that I send out to UDC members (Union of Diamond Cutters) Team YRG and you and realized that Angella and I were together... so he sent me an email though her and asked her if she would forward his message on to me which obviously she did... Tyler wrote me a very thoughtful email letting me know just how much he appreciated having me in his and his family's life... It was very powerful... It just goes to show you never really know how much you touch someone's lives until it comes full circle... Now all the Page's are back together again and we are all doing YRG... Talk about a great way to bond with your family... I will keep you posted on their progress.
Last week I was in Atlanta and while I was there I stopped by Deep South Championship Wrestling to see my good buddy and mentor Jody Hamilton ... Jody was the first to ever believe in me as a wrestler and he knew before anybody that I had IT because he worked on top for 30 years as Assassin # 1 ... Jody drew HUGE money... while I was there I spoke to about 30 of the boys about how important it is to keep a positive attitude as they continue their journey to try to get to the show and about how important work ethic was... Afterward we all got a YRG workout in which a lot them really dug... they have a lot of talent down there in Deep South Championship Wrestling... If you're in the Atlanta area check it out ... Keep and eye on G-Rilla and Bradley Jay their Champion right now... both of these two young men have IT ... I will enjoy watching their careers grow as time goes on ... After Atlanta I was off to Charlottesville Virginia to do a speaking gig for the kids from Piedmont Virginia Community College. The young man who brought me in was Danny Waylon. I very respect nice young man. I came in the night before and the next morning Danny and I were up 6:30 am to do a round of radio shows and some TV. After that it was breakfast and off to PVCC. Now PVCC is a small school so I wasn't expecting much of a crowd. I was basically speaking in a lounge area that the kids hang out in before going to the next class ... you could call it half lounge half hallway... lol... So I have this 20 minute speech ready expecting maybe 5 or 6 kids to talk to. When I get out there I see a little more than a hundred scattered in the seats and bunches hanging in the halls... immediately I switch to the as long as they are listening I'm going to inspire them mode... I believe it was my best speaking gig so far... It lasted a little over a hour with a Q and A to follow. All in all it was a great experience and I even got some great email send to my site the next day so I know there were a few people moved to action... One would be a woman named Valerie but I'll keep you posted on her.

Wrestling note... did any on catch TNA's last PPV... all I can say is you missed the Championship match with Champ Christian Cage and Samoa Joe... GET THAT PPV and WATCH THAT MATCH ... SPECTACULAR !!! I actually jumped out of my seat on the finish...
Team YRG note... Each week I'm gonna bring you one or two members of Team YRG and give you an update as to where they are and how they are doing... the thing I love the most about what I'm doing right now is getting to watch so many of my close personal friends of mind inspiring other people that they have never met... Like Smokey and Terri two of the original members of Team YRG... they have been the inspiration for two great stories I'm going to share with you... don't worry this is the short version...
This Linda the mother of my God daughters on day one of her journey she was 248 lbs... Now I have known Linda since she was SMOKING HOT bartender for me 25 years ago... Like a lot of single moms Linda basically gave up her life to raise her two beautiful daughters... but finally Linda is back on track to Own her Life as well and since she has started the YRG workout and has been doing Dr. Fred Bisci's eating lifestyle called food combining (notice I didn't say DIET because diet's don't work) in one month has lost 22 lbs the healthy way... Fred's way... pictures below... Terri has been her inspiration...

Linda 5' 10'' 248 lbs.
You've got to love the pictures being taken in front of the VEGGIES
Linda 5' 10'' 224 lbs

The next is a guy named Arthur who I never even knew was alive until about two months ago. I first met Arthur because he answered an email that I send out to any and everyone who buys any of the YRG workouts. In the email I welcome them to Team YRG and ask them if they mind answering 12 questions. I could tell by his emails that Arthur just might need a little more than just the YRG workout to truly Own his Life. So I asked him to send me some pictures to be sure... Below are the before and 30 day after pictures... to see more you going to have to go to the site and trust me you want to see them because they are unbelievable. When I saw Arthur I knew he needed more than just DDP and YRG so I sent him Dr. Fred Bisci eating program and Arthur took to that eating style like duck to water. Arthur started at 5'9'' 297 lbs... the truth is Arthur was so inspired by what Smokey had done before him that he took his YRG workout to the next level. Arthur set a goal to eat exactly the way Dr. Fred says and do the YRG 50+ every morning... that's right every morning ... 7 days a week... the last two weeks he has actually done YRG 5 nights a week as well... What a YRG Warrior... Talk about inspiration combined with work ethic... As you will see from the pictures on my site Arthur has his limitations... but that's today... You see Arthur doesn't believe in excuses... his motto is "I WILL WALK AGAIN"... now that's strong... he told me today that over this last month he has fallen down so many times... but to quote DDP it is not how many times you fall down that counts it how many times you get up that matters... everyday Arthur gets back up and modifies his YRG 50+ and now the Fountain of Youth (yes he does them both now) ... he modifies the YRG workout where ever needed so that he can get that much closer to not having to use those damn canes anymore to help himself walk around... Arthur will make you believe there are NO EXCUSES...???

Arthur 5'9'' 297 lbs
Arthur 5'9'' 297 lbs
Arthur 5' 9'' 263 lbs
I wanted you to see the beginning of the their journey with DDP and YRG because this is only the beginning.
Hollywood note... went by to see co-star Reilly Smith and his band play last Friday night check pictures on site.

Hey Cutters...
It’s been a long time since my last mail so I’ll here’s some bullet points on what’s been happening in the world of DDP.

But first I want to wish a fond Farewell to another one of the boys... Mike Awesome... Damn... Anybody that knew Mike knew he was like the kindest, nicest guy on the planet. I first met Mike, like Bam Bam, when he was a kid in Florida Championship Wrestling... He was long and lanky (considering how big he would eventually become) kid, green as grass and just wanting to learn how to wrestle... The next time I would see Mike was years later when he had his run in the real ECW... He was huge, powerful and strong... I would see pictures of him from time to time while he was learning his craft in Japan... Later he would come to the WCW and I would actually get to work with him which I must say was a treat... A treat in the way that whatever Mike would do to me, he would take the abuse... In other words, when that huge 6’4’’285 lb monster came off the top rope with that intense frog splash you NEVER felt a thing... He would somehow defy gravity... I know because I took that frog splash off the top rope 3 times in a row on night... It literally blew my mind that he didn’t hurt me... He really was one of the sweetest guys in the business and I was really sad to hear that he had taken his life... God bless you, my brother.

On a more positive side, I just finished up three weeks of Master classes of my YRG workout at Equinox in Santa Monica, Cali. They were so successful that the head of that department at Equinox, Amy Dixon, has asked me if I would like a regular night. She actually offered me any night I want, which was very cool. So, of course, I took the best night, Mondays, starting in April...

Equinox is a very cool place... they will let you in for the first couple of classes to see if you like the YRG workout, so please feel free to come by and check it out. You will also see that Equinox is one sweetest gyms in L.A. Details are at DiamondDallasPage.com site, just click the Appearance page.

On Thursday night, Rob Zombie called Tim Sullivan (Driftwood director) to ask Tim if he and I wanted to come down to the set of Halloween which, of course, we did...  The set looked awesome... Very creepy... As Tim and I walked up on the set, this officer ran up to us and asked if he could help us... In other words ... What the hell can I do for you boys...  We told him we were here to see RZ... So some guy ran back and told Rob there were two HUGE guys out front here to see him... Rob came out, noticed us and started to laugh... He said I was hoping that you two were the two HUGE guys who were looking for me. As we were hanging out, RZ shared his vision for his version of this HalloWeen... all I can say is it’s very f---ing cool... But, then again, what would you expect from one of the coolest guys on the planet who also just happens to be a great writer and director. While I was on the set I also got to see one of my Devils Rejects buddies Tyler Mane.

Tyler played Rufus who was in the shootout scene in the beginning of Rejects... Rufus was one of the brothers that got killed. That shootout scene to me is one of the best shoot’em up scenes ever ... Anyway, you may remember Tyler from X-MEN where he played Sabertooth and if you really know your wrestling you will remember him as Big Sky who partnered with Kevin Nash back in 1992... I find it amusing that both Tyler and I both tagged with Nash and were both in Rejects...

You know I had to get a picture with Mr. Myers aka Tyler Mane doing the Diamond Cutter...
Tim and I got great picture of Mr. Myers laid out with DDP on the cold cement with Sullivan over us to check our pulse in front of the Myers family dwelling ... Of course were both dead... But you’ll have to the site to see the rest of the pictures.

Speaking of Tim and Driftwood, we have some great new clips and reviews of the front page of DiamondDallasPage.com one of the videos you can watch is from Toxic Shock Tv and YouTube video of Doing Hard Time at Driftwood... This YouTube video is one of the segments that will be on the behind the scenes part of the Driftwood DVD.. We also have a new review from LA’s the Place on Driftwood, as well... But the best news of all is that Driftwood will actually be get a small theatrical release in about 13 theaters around the country, then go to TV and then a big DVD release... which is really great because Driftwood was only supposed to be released as a direct to dvd movie that cost all of a million dollars to make and we shot in only 15 days... Driftwood is Indy movies at it’s best... I will keep you posted.

Earlier in the week, I was invited to an Awards dinner for the one and only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar... This was a huge thrill for me since I grew up a B-baller... It was so cool to see the best big man of all time be awarded his lifetime achievement award... While there, I got a picture with an other legend James Worthy who of course was caught doing the Diamond Cutter with DDP...

The last time I saw James I got a picture of him wearing the United States Title that I just happen to be holding at the time.

Last wee,k the WWE was in town for their PPV called No Way Out... This is something some of you will find amusing... I talked to Dusty Rhodes earlier that week and he asked me to come by to see him... Now being that Dusty is my mentor and one of my closest friends, and the fact that I finally have a lot of really positive things going on out here in LA, I thought what the hell I would love to go by and see Dusty, Johnny Ace and Michael P.S. Hayes... So I get there around 4pm which is a little late because all the boys are already there since the show starts in an hour... I forgot I was on the west coast and the ppv startes at 5pm... I guess it had been a long time since I was at a ppv... Anyway, I get there and I can’t get in... I guess it really was a long time since I’ve been to a PPV... So... It’s late and I just can’t roll in with everyone else... I get to the ramp and a guy who never watched wrestling won’t let Diamond Dallas Page in... How funny is that? Ok, not funny at the time but it is funny now... So I make a few calls and finally said screw it and a spilt... Nice rib Dusty... About a 30 minutes later I get a call from Ace who says bro are you still outside... I’m like your kidding, right? Do I look like a mark? Of course I’m not outside... I’m almost home... Of course, Ace promised me that if wouldn’t happen again so I’ll let you know what happens next time... The bottom line is I never got to see the boys, but my little brothers Jimmy Yang and Shannon Moore showed the respect to come by my house the next night to see me...

Would you let these guys in your house... HELL YEAH!

There is a great story in WWE magazine about Jimmy Yang this month entitled DDP Changed My Life... You see back in 1996, my career was just starting to take off big time... So much so that kids were starting to dress up like their favorite wrestling characters for Halloween... That Halloween Jimmy Yang was maybe 16 and his buddies from high school came by my house dressed as DDP, Sting, Rey, Macho and Hogan... I remember Kim yelling to me from the front door... I was back in our bedroom watching TV... She yelled Page come here... You have to see this... When I got to the top of my stairs I saw 6 kids all dressed as wrestling characters one of which was DDP (Ryan) who had a blonde mullet, jeans and DDP t-shirt with his ribs taped... I popped big time and came down and took pictures with the boy... I actually put the pictures up on this very site... Jimmy would later tell me that it made him and his buddies legendary at school...
Which, of course, I thought was pretty damn cool... Over the next two years, Jimmy and his crew ... The Diamond Cutter Crew as they would call themselves, would actually come by my house and help me put up and take down my Christmas lights... I guess back then they were always driving by my house I just didn’t know it at the time... I will never forget one day Jimmy said to me, "DDP, do you know why you are our favorite wrestler?" I said, "No, Jimmy, why?" He said "Because we can’t see through your sh*t." Which means they couldn’t see how I was not killing my opponent every time I hit him... I thought to myself ... Wow, that kid really gets it... Later it would be Kanyon who would help Jimmy get his break through me... I was amazed how Jimmy had followed the dream and I was more than a happy to lend him a helping hand... Shannon, on the other hand, I met in 1997. He was maybe 14 at the time and actually wrestling in professional matches... He couldn’t have been more than 130 lbs at the time ... I was actually amazed... He was with Matt and Jeff Hardy and, at the time, they were all just a couple of kids wrestling in little independent gigs for maybe 25 bucks a show... I’ve meet thousands of kids over the years but for some reason those kids stuck out to me... I didn’t know why at the time... today I do... I remember meeting Shannon and his crew at a Waffle House in NC... Just a bunch of good kids reaching for the stars... The thing I love the most about these young men is that none of them are what would be considered a man mountain... Not any of them were in any way a sure thing to ever get a shot in professional wrestling ... They were and are what most people would think to be to small to be a pro-wrestlers but on the contrary they are larger than life men with huge hearts and work ethic second to none ... They had a dream... they followed it... And when everyone said to them they were crazy, they were wasting there time... That it was impossible they believed they could and continue to push on so that they could live their dreams...

Continuing that positive note, let me tell you I, Mr. Live Life at 90%, will be speaking... Yes, I will be doing an inspirational speaking gig at Piedmont Virginia Community College at the Woodrow Bolick Center at 12 noon on Wednesday the 14th of March about Living Life at 90%... So, if you have ever wanted to know why I constantly say to Live Life at 90% and Own Your Life come see me speak and trust me you’ll get it... There won’t be any cover charge... it’s a free function that PVCC is putting on for it’s students and members of the community... For information click here... I will be speaking for about an 45 minutes and then be doing a Q and A afterward so come on by and suck up all the positive energy you want ... Trust me there will be enough to go around...

Hey Cutters...
If you’re in the area tomorrow I will be at the DRIFTWOOD premiere at Fangoria NYC Monster Mondays. FANGORIA’s next Monster Mondays screening will be on January 15, 2007 at Manhattan’s Two Boots Pioneer Theater at 155 East 3rd Street and Avenue A. DRIFTWOOD will screen at both 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM. Tim Sullivan and I will introduce the film and answer audience questions at each show...
On Friday I did a really cool interview with Dee Snider on Fangoria Sirius radio... You might recognize the name Dee Snider because Dee also is the lead singer of the band Twisted Sister... I always loved those guys... During the interview I was very happy to hear that Dee and his Co-host Debbie really were amazed by my performance in Driftwood... Amazed in a good way, that is... It was really a great interview and it will be posted up on my site in the next week or so if you want to hear it... I’ll keep posted...

The best part of the interview for me was when I was talking about the YRG workout. Dee and Debbie said they wanted to do it... I love the idea of Mr. Twisted Sister doing YRG... One of my promotional handouts for YRG is this very yogi looking girl with a turban on her head and a picture of me as Billy Ray Snapper from "Devils Rejects" with my foot up somewhere near my head while standing on one leg and under the picture in case you can't read it... it says "What's the antithesis of a yogi ... I know maybe a wrestler?" ...

Well that's what I think of when I think of Rob Zombie doing YRG and writing the forward to Yoga for Regular Guys. Now Dee Snider may be doing YRG. You've got to love that. Dee and I talked after the show and learned just like me Dee has embraced turning 50 and really understands it's only a number. Like me, he is constantly finding ways to hold back the hands of time... He also told me he has been looking for a new workout and after hearing me talk, he is jacked up to start the YRG workout when he gets back to NYC... I'll keep you posted.
I will also be staying in NYC promoting my new inspirational audio book Own Your Life on various radio shows and a few TV shows. On Wednesday, I will heading down to Atlanta to continue promoting OYL and will be doing a YRG on Friday morning be on Good Day Atlanta and at least one of the Gyms... When I have it nailed down I get back to you.

Monday the 22rd of January it looks like I will be heading up to Cookeville, Tenn. to speak at my good friend Dr. David Birman son’s school and then maybe take everyone through a YRG workout... The best thing about the grassroots promoting I am doing right now for YRG is we are really building a strong foundation of people who are buying the workout off the www.DiamondDallasPage.com site and the www.YRGworkout.com site ... It's a really good thing because I have found the a HUGE percentage of people who buy the workout actually do the workout on a consistent basis... So YRG is building this tremendous following and technically doesn’t even come out till this fall... It looks like that is when we will releasing the infomercial...

What else? Well, we had a great Christmas Eve with Kimberly and Aaron. We ... or should I say, they made an incredible turkey dinner with all the fixings. Aaron was even making this pumpkin soup which I thought I was going to hate but I absolutely love it... After Christmas Day, Ang and I headed up to Park City to have a White Christmas... Park City is so beautiful any time of year but I like it the best at Christmas... We stayed with my good friends JT and Diana Thompson... Of course, we had to hit the slopes ... And I mean hit the slopes...at least I did... I tried Snow boarding again for the 2rd and last time... Oh my God did I take some crazy falls ... The kind I wish I was filming so I could put them on YouTube because some of those falls you would have wondered how the hell a 6’4”240lb 50 yr old man got up from... One time I made the mistake that was actually starting to get pretty good so I picked up the pace... What an idiot I was... Anyway I came around this bend and there was this little tiny kid there... Now, I knew I could get around him but I was going to take the chance so I cut back and when I did all hell broke loose...

I immediately went face down... So to protect myself I put my arms over my head and grabbed my elbows and when I hit the hill was so steep I started to cart wheel down the hill ... I did a full three rotations before I landed once again flat on my face... As I pull my face out of the snow... My goggles and hat lost somewhere in between me I looked up and saw a woman with her son who saw the whole thing... She looked at me and said “Now I’m not an Olympic judge or anything but I’m going to give that fall 9’s across the board”... I can’t even begin to tell  you how sore I was later the night... I felt like I had 3 matches with the 7’1’’500 lb Big Show... Anyway I won’t be doing that again... I love to watch those snow boarders and that’s where I’m going to stay watching those guys... Later that night it the hot tub, red wine and games on the pool table ... Where Di and I teamed up to kick Angella and JT’s butt...  Pictures on the site...
This New Years Eve, Angella and I headed to Carmen Electra NYE bash... Which was on the Paramount lot and cold but fun just the same... Two days later Ang and were off to St. Louis for the Get Hooked on Health Expo... What a great turn out... I spoke on three different occasions and stuck around and signed autographs... Took pictures with the World Championship Title and sold “Own Your Life”and YRG DvDs... It was great seeing people moved to action... There are some great shots on the site of all the events we even went to Golds Gym to teach YRG a couple of times... It was a HUGE branding weekend for YRG...

Well that’s all for now hope to see you in NYC ... Atlanta or Tenn... I will send you updates so you know what gyms I’ll be at later in the week...
Stay Strong...
Do... Your YRG!

Hey Cutters...
Any time I ever hit the road, packing is always my biggest obstacle... I f*cking hate it... what to bring ... how much to bring... weather it's going to be for a day or a week it's always a pain in the ass to me but when you are leaving for just under a 2 week to go to a foreign country it can even be more difficult and can take hours...
Anyway enough of the b*tching about the packing $hit... I got packed and I was off to the airport on  August 25th at noon for a 2:45 pm to Frankfurt where I going to meet up with my buddy Brian Lee who is the tour manager, a great guy who I have already done a couple of Military tours with ... one to the pacific rim for the Navy and one to Iraq with my buddy Rob Dibble back in 2004... I have to admit I had a lot of reservations about doing a tour with 3 chicks, especially good looking one... I mean you know the deal... the make up the hair all the blah... blah... blah... but these ladies were great... they never b*tched about anything and believe me they could have and it would have been justified but they didn't, they were truly WARRIORS...

As soon as I hit the ground in Germany the first thing I did was have beer... lots of them... where I was going there was no BEER... None... Zero... Nada... Nothing... and if you have ever been to Germany you know the beer that you get in Germany has a whole different taste than it does in the states... I believe it's the best damn beer on the planet... When I finally got to the business class waiting area... I got a beer and met up with the rest of the group... Brian,  ... a Wrestler/manager for TNA - Traci Brooks -  www.tnatracibrooks.com who I used to work with when I wrestled with TNA... Bonnie- Jill Laflin www.bonnie-jill.com who was a Cowboys Cheerleader, 49ers Cheerleader, and now is a correspondent for ESPN not to mention the only woman scout for Professional Basketball ... yeah she's a scout for the Lakers how hot is that... and Kitana Baker www.kitanabaker.com  who I know you will remember if you saw the Miller Lite commercials in 2003 where the two girls argue about "Taste Great... Less Filling" you know the ones where the girls rip their clothes off each other... F*cking Classic... it was so good that the girls actually ended up at Wrestlemania and did some silly pillow fight... go figure Vince exploiting women... But still hot to watch...

We finally touch down in Kuwait about 23 hours after leaving LA where we met our Army tour manager Chief Chris Pace and our head of security SGT Shawn Brunello... these guys were the best and we all became very good friends ... It's funny because I always thought of Kuwait as being in the middle of the shit (the War zone) but the truth is Kuwait is more like Beverly Hills ... Iraq is a whole different story... We got to catch a cat nap in Kuwait for a few hours and then we were off to Al Asad Base in Western Iraq to see the Marines... what a reception we got from these guys...

Upon our arrival at Al Asad which is one of those bases that is in the middle of NOWHERE, the girls were feeling a little sick from a crazy landing in the C130. I guess the pilot did some negative G shit along with many twists and turns along with a rapid descent... I didn't really feel it but ladies up front almost lost it... But these girls Cowboy up when the call is given. Although the pilots are required to do a few maneuvers in case a missile is being fired at them (it is a war zone), this particular pilot took it a little overboard, according to some of our passengers and our escorts. They said the pilot was trying to show off for the girls, but it actually back fired on the guys, because the ladies would normally stay and take pictures and hang out with the pilots forever... they love the pilots... The bottom line was they felt the C130 pilots where f*cking with them... they felt a little sick and as a result they wanted to leave as quick as possible... Like I said the girls Cowboy up (as they would do the entire tour) but they don't take any shit either... We all still took one group shot but the girls like I said would have gone over and above but they felt like they got ribbed so it was off to the next location.

First place we hit was the Marine FOB at Al Asad .. BTW I have never seen women get ready so fast to look their best ever that is besides my Black Bear Ang... there must of been 400 guys waiting to greet us... one of my favorite expressions was when a group of guys would see the Girls (and they never were expecting it ) THE GUYS WOULD WHIPPED THEIR HEADS SO FAST THAT THEY ALMOST GOT WHIPLASH... like oh my God did you just see that and then they see me and it was totally different reaction but it was just as good... It was like look at these 3 hot looking chicks walking by... and then the guy who was in their living room ever Monday and Thursday night and Saturday and Sunday morning DDP was bringing up the rear... yeah it's pretty much freaked them out... It's was a pretty powerful crazy feeling... On our way to our first performance as they would call it... the Performance... (it was a autograph signing and picture shoot)... I tweaked my knee on some rocks but I didn't seem that bad at the time ... but from time to time I would think to myself...great I just f*cked my knee... how am I going to do YRG for the next week and a half for an hour a night... at this point I had only slept about 4 hours of the last 48 hours and was feeling pretty burnt but as usual the troops pumped me up and I was ready to go...

Like I said the place is packed... there must have been 400 Marines there and they were probably the only ones that were off duty at the time... we were there about 3 hours and that is where I got my first semi-challenge ... a young Marine I can't remember his name but this is his picture.

.. says to me "Oh my God the World Title Championship belt can I have it" I said F*ck no you can't have it ... then he said "I'll wrestler you for it" and I said I won't wrestler you for it but how about a push up contest ... he looked at me as if he was looking through me... there was NO fear in his eyes but I could see respect... he really wasn't sure if he could beat the man before him... So I said don't you think you can beat a 50 year old man...You know I had to throw that shit in there... finally he accepted the challenge and we went at it... I have to tell you, I never in a million years thought he would make it past 3 ... 10 second push ups... I will explain what that means... you lower yourself slowly for 10 seconds ... then you hold 3 inches off the ground for 10 second then you lift slowly for for 10 seconds... the 10 second push up is a great test of your true core strength... the bottom line is the 20 year old kid got to 6 before he finally dropped... Thank God!!!... I was so glad because I was right behind him... he was really good... I won't be challenging him again...we there about 4 hours and hopping on Black Hawks and off to the Haditha Dam ... this place is like a submarine that has 7 floors (with NO elevator) it is stuck between two bodies of land holding back the water... it is also vital to the power and energy source of Iraq and the Marines are stationed there to protect it... but take away the view and this place sucks to live... you have NO idea what these poor kids go through for our country... but then again they’re marines and these guys can handle anything. SSG Jack Johnson from Hawaii gave us the tour of the Dam that took us up and down the 7 stories at least 5 times (now I my knee was really starting to bother me)... there was no need to do any cardio on this day. One of our first stops was a group of Marine Snipers who were on base for a couple of days –we took a few photos and signed some autographs –these guys were all tired from being outside the wire for weeks but they were pumped to see us.  Later I got to talk to a really cool Marine who dug the YRG thing... named Tim Ayers and then I had him do some 10 second push ups,  after he got down I couldn't resist myself I had to jump down with him... he did about 4 and looked up at me and said... I get it... he was sweating his ass off ... He was the first guy not to quit but to look up at me and say I get... He was hooked on YRG... later that night we ended up at their gym which was pretty nice... a bunch of meat heads or gym rats... which I can call them because I was one for over 30 years –they were asking me about their gym... I said it's nice but I don't lift anymore or do cardio and of course that brought me into the whole YRG program bit... bottom line is when I finish where I put my elbow up on my knees and then push up into a hand stand, the BIG guy I think his name was Sutter still didn't get it... so for the 3rd time today I challenge someone to the push up contest but this kid is 23 and a super stud... I still thought I would take him pretty easy but I forgot to take into consideration as his buddies who were there that if he lost to 50 year old man they never would have let him forget it ... The pride thing over there is HUGE... In a good way... it was intense... I even went into full boot camp sarg character ... I was yelling his buddies were yelling you better not quit... it was wild... but the funniest thing was we both got to 7 pushups we both stopped... We didn’t we just stopped... I couldn't go any further and either could he... I call it getting stuck and we stayed there for over a minute ... everyone was screaming at some point since we were head to head...

I leaned my head next to his head and whispered... do you here how I'm breathing right now... it was a calm as could be and then I said do you here how you are breathing ... he was sucking it up BIG time and I mimicked him and then I said if you were breathing like I am breathing you've got an other 3 in you and then said I'm going to lower myself now... if I didn't we may still have been there... Marines don't quit... Especially when your buddy Marines are depending on you to step up... So stepped off...  when  he stood up he was sweating like he just ran 5 miles... after congratulating him –I  looked him right in the eye and said btw bro that was my 3 time I did this today... I told him I was leaving 2 YRG DvDs (I left the YRG DvDs everywhere I went) at the dam for him to work on his core... I wonder if he'll ever do it... I'll keep you posted... the next morning I was up at 5:30 am to do YRG with about 30 Marines no wonder they call the Dam the sweat box...

Later that morning we BlackHawked off to Fallujah, another Marine base... we did our usual tour were you go see the troops as they are working because that’s what they do a 12 hours or more a day .... after that we got to meet Brigadier General Neller... Talk about a class act... we got to spend some quality time together and then we were off to see more Marines... At dinner I would always find a group of Soldiers or Marines who had that look on their faces like is that who I think it is... and then I would just ask them if I could sit down with them... introduce myself to each one of them and then just shoot the shit... it could be what I'm doing now.. to old wrestling story's ... these were really special moments for me and for them as well and it really seemed to make a difference... on this day these guys were just coming back from patrol and were eating lunch and then heading right back out so if I didn't see them right then I never would had the honor of meeting them... right as they were leaving General Neller walked up and took a seat across from me and he expressed how much it not only meant to him but to everyone when someone shows up out in this small little corner of the world to show they care... He told me about a few of the men that his company had lost and I could tell by the way he told the story that it was if each one them were his own son... It totally choked me up... General Neller is a one special guy and it was truly an honor to spend those moments with him…

He is someone I am sure I will build a long distance relationship for years to come... That is what is so cool about doing these tours, the people who's lives you touch and the ones that touch yours.

Later that night they did the marine combat demonstration. A female marine got up and sang the National Anthem with the American Flag waving behind her. The realization of being in Fallujah, Iraq(one of the most dangerous areas in the world) with a room full of Marines and Soldiers and hearing the song of our country almost had the girls in tears, it seemed surreal.

Afterward the man who invented the Marines Martials Program,  LT COL Bristol got up and gave one of the most powerful speeches I've ever heard ... It inspired me so much I just got up and spoke after the Colonel was finished... I had no idea what I was going to say but all just came to me like I had been doing it for years... I think it was one of the most powerful presentations that I have ever given and the people seemed to agree.  Of course I brought YRG into and before you know after we signed about 400 autographs I had about 35 people stay for the YRG class... we didn't get out of there until almost 11pm and we were up the next day up at at 3:45 am,  yes 3:45 am so that we could catch a 4:30am fight to Camp Victory where they picked us up in an Armored Truck ... if you have been reading these emails for a while you know that is where I started my tour last time... Camp Victory or Baghdad is where that asshole Saddam used to live ... when I was there last time it was pretty beat up ... today it's pretty sweet and we got a tour of the AL Faw Water Palace, signing autographs along the way. We ended up at the DFAC (mess hall) which is always the best place to surprise Soldiers who have no idea your there... the next morning I had to get up for 5:30 YRG class, it's funny because that’s the normal time on that day that they actually have a yoga class but only about 4 or 5 people show up... a few of the guys the day before told me that they went to try the yoga class once but they were playing  weird music and chanting and shit... can you imagine me doing that in my class? ... For such an early class we had more than 40 people...

After the workout we hopped on a Black Hawk to FOB ISKANDARIYA on the outskirts of Baghdad which is where our troops are protecting a huge Power plant ... this was the hottest day to me it was somewhere between 130 and 140 degrees.  This was one of those bases similar to the ones I visited with Rob Dibble two years ago –we road around in Humvees and did a autograph signing in one of the few air conditioned rooms they had on base.  We where there for 3+ hours and I brought up some of my wrestling matches on my laptop and the boys were loving it.

Next it was off to the International Zone - we all went to the "Hands of Victory/Saddam’s Swords", where Saddam marched his troops after the victory over Iran. Then we went to the kick ass hotel, where they had a pool and food waiting for us upon arrival it was truly like a miracle ... Up till that spot the trip was brutal... this was nothing like the last places that we stayed... We kicked back for an hour and headed over to see the boys... I was so burnt out but I was getting my 7th wind and was feeling pretty dam good... those smiling faces will do that to you... That's when a pumped group of guys came bouncing into our area... they seem to raise the energy level of the room and before I knew it I'm face to face with kid who has to have been fan of mine since he 10 years old... he was very respectful and I could tell he was a real Warrior... before you know it I'm talking to him about YRG and the 10 second push up... he got a little cocky but at the same time he was very respectful... I tried to get him to challenge me but he just wouldn't do it... finally I said fuck that let's do it... his name is Chris Crosline, 23yrs old, we would end up doing 7 or maybe more 10 sec push ups... Brian who filmed everything on this trip started filming at some point... the reason I have gone into so much detail about this kid is because he is the first time anyone has ever actually dropped me at my own game... with that Big Marine Sutter at the Dam I might have ended up dropping but I didn’t I lowered myself and I gave him the win but he never dropped me and this kid did... it was electrifying... The guys were going crazy... I gave him a YRG DVD... I will be real interested to see what he does with it...

I found out later that he had just won the base bench press contest a week earlier... that was destiny and a lot of fun. That night we watched "Devil's Rejects" in the house’s living room, and it felt as though we were at a sleep over at someone's house, rather than being in the middle of a war zone.

We went to Q-West the next day. Trust me it’s no Key West... It was about an hour and forty minute black hawk ride. We did some negative maneuvers and had a little fun during the ride. There was an unbelievable view during the ride. The terrain was magnificent. As we flew over the small villages, locals would wave to us, as their way of showing appreciation and gratitude for us being there.

The next morning we went to Balad/Anaconda Base. This was the first place we did  the YRG class in the gym, while the girls went to visit some soldiers in the hospital. We did both signings in the DFAC at this base.

Next we went to Mosul. No pictures allowed during the signing in the DFAC. but the troops could take them in gym... this was the biggest turn out for YRG over 60 guys

This was the first day decided to see who wanted the new YRG "I survived YRG with DDP" which BTW are on the site

I wanted to see how hard these guys would work after a kick ass workout... so I offered up 2 t-shirts to the winner... 1 to 2nd place and I never told them but whoever came in 3rd I would take off my sweaty t-shirt and give him that one... this was a huge success... like I said I have most of them filmed ... we filmed everything for my friend Arthur who is doing a movie called Y for right now it's called YYogathemovie.com (check out the website)... anyway that's why we were filming every workout... I guess I am one of the treads that goes through the movie ending with Yoga or should I say YRG in a war zone... Like I told these guys I worked out with... I call it YRG but it is still yoga based and it's going be really cool in Arthur’s movie... anyway the one thing I didn't get to film and it was the funniest thing that happened the whole time I was over there.  This young red headed Warrior was asking me if he and his platoon could put me in a ground fighting hold... I can't remember the name of it but here it is...

They really thought they had me and the red headed kid on the left is saying to me so Diamond what are you going to do now and he’s laughing like a mad man... and I said well how about this and I laid what may have been the loudest fart you have EVER the fact it was on the basketball floor only made it louder ... they sold it big time... they scattered like cockroaches... I'm still laughing out loud when I think about. The next morning we got up and went to the shooting range, and got to shoot the sniper rifles, and other various rifles and pistols which was great.

When we got the next base in Tal-Afar(Northwest Iraq), I sat down at lunch like I always do and started talking to the boys at some point I said so what do you do to fill the time when you not working or working out and the one guy says I'm building a go-cart out of spare parts we find around the base... later as we were doing our rounds I saw the same guys and the mechanics outside and stopped to check the Go cart out... Later that night I gave a speech in a large theatre that was nearly filled. After we finished I was off to do YRG with the boys

When we got off on our last stop at a place called Kirkuk/FOB Warrior I ran into a buddy of mine & Tim Sullivan’s name Rick Bolander on the airpot runway... dam what a small world ... Rick saw a flier saying I was going to be there and made plans to hang with us for the day and stayed till the night where we once again signed autographs and finished with the YRG workout afterwards. We sure as hell started a YRG movement over there in Iraq and I can't think of a better place to have it started it to help the guys with there breathing and inner peace...

I want to personally thank each of the girls (Bonnie Jill, Traci & Kitana) for being so great with guys and so easy to work with and Shawn and the Chief for taking care of all of us as good as it can be done and of course Brian Lee aka Sag Hulka... aka the Big Toe...aka Miso Lee... aka Mr. Burgandy... your the best bro I look forward to our next journey together...

One of the really cool things about this trip for me personally was the response from the guys as a whole and how they greeted me... My buddy Brian Lee wrote this to me after checking out my copy...

And Jay z wonders why I just won’t roll over and let him take the Diamond Cutter sign from me... It was also great to hear all the support I got from the troops when it came to Jay z ripping me of... Yet a few times I was asked the question why I was doing the Rock sign... Obviously those guys never watched wrestling... On  both occasions they got hit with lefts and rights from guys around them explaining the Diamond Cutter sing was DDP’s sign and that Jay z ripped me off... It was poetic justice in a way again knowing that the Military had my back once again... Thanks for everything guys... Thanks for everything you do... See you then next time I get to Iraq...

That’all for now... I am getting ready to leave for a trip to South Africa where I will be filming my next movie with Wesley Snipes called GallowWalker directed by Andrew Goth... I will tell you more about this in my next email...
Have a Great day!Be Unstoppable...?

Have a Great day!
